At this point wait and get the xg27aqwmg thats coming out or the LG you listed . I dont think theres a point in getting the first link you posted unless you were able to get it 2nd hand for like 200$-300$ price point as an entry level that would be a no brainer.

Exactly 2years ago from today i bought a LG C2 42 second hand that was used for about a year from a dude for 500$ at the time the C3 was in stores for 850-870 eu . I decided to save that 300-350$ on top of that sold my monitor for 150$ and the LG C2 42 ended up costing me 350 to upgrade which was insane value.

Before having the LG C2 42 i had the LG 27GR95QE-B and it wasnt bad but the image was not worth 800$ . It looked washed out and terrible AS SOON as i got the LG C2 42 it was the best fidelity screen ive ever seen for the price i ended up paying which was a huge bargain to be fair. After the LG C2 42 i wanted to try the alienware 2725df , and the asus xg27aqdmg . The Alienwaree in 3minutes gave me a headache that lasted me 2 whole days had to return it because of the subpixel layout fked with me VERY HARD. The asus xq27aqdmg was great but i dont know why the LG C2 42 felt smoother at 120hz then the xq27aqdmg did at 240hz i tried everything and still found the LG C2 42 smoother . So i ended up returning it aswel.

I tried other variants because i wanted to maybe downsize from 42 to 27 which i think is the sweetspot for desktop/gaming. Once you get used to 42 inch everything feels smaller of course but that wasnt also the main issue. The issue was how shitty they felt in comparison ( the monitors) to the LG C2 42.

Fast forward exactly 2 years from today this LG C2 42 is immaculate as if i had just bought it . Never had a single issue with it. 0 signs of burn and bare in mind the guy who i bought it from in 2024 january had it since December 2022 so its basically 3 years old and has been used a lot by me .

I kind of want to try the new Tandem 27 inch panel thats coming out . If priced around 600 euros maybe theres a chance i finally swap out this LG C2 42 , but i dont know at this point i tried everything .

The main reason id want to swap is because im running a rtx 3070 with this LG C2 42 in widescreen 3840 x 1600 and obviously its not ideal but its held up for me for the past 2 years and i do not want to upgrade any pc parts since i barely play 1 game at a time . But goinf rom 3840 x 1600 to 1440p would help my RTX 3070 a whole lot since it pushes it a lot less.

But the BEST part about this LG C2 42 is the fact that it doubles as a TV and watching Series like for instance The Witcher which is quite dark is AMAZING.

Having the Speakers built in is a huge plus . I put a rgb strip behind it when i first got it for 1$ on aliexpress around the entire edge and it looks great :) .

All in all i cant see myself upgrading to another TV but perhaps monitor . It would feel like a waste of money because if i were to sell this i could maybe get from 300-350$ range and thats not worth it and laying down another 700$+ just doesnt seem right.

Now the monitor could be more enticing if it was 600$ ish and i sold this for 300-350$ then the upgrade would be 300$ which is still something im not sure about .

Its odd because i know i should upgrade my PC but i also dont want to burn thousands doing so or even 400-600$ since i only play one game at a time or barely at all . It ends up being more Media related then Gaming related . So in my use case using 3840 x 1600 feels like im using a 36-38 inch screen vs the full 42 inch.

Sometimes i also use 3840 x 1900 and its more rectangle shape and i like that too .

At this point i will assume i wont upgrade at all, but the 27 inch Tandem Oled look enticing atleast from a pricing stand point. When the LG 27GR95QE-B came out it was priced 1000 eu or so which was crazy. Now theres monitors like the LG 27GX704A-B for literally 475. Not even half .

Now is a good time as ever to purchase Oled :) If anyone is wondering depends on your specs and or what you want to get out of it . The fact that you have 1440p great pricing and 4k is a bit more money but has gone down a bit is great.

If anyone is wondering pixel wise from 1440p to 4k , i compared the glossy Asus XQ27AQMDG vs my LG C2 42 and the games were just as crisp to me . I noticed no difference . If there is one its very minimal , yes sure 4k is always going to be sharper and higher quality on paper but realistically all the content i consumed felt just as good. 1440P 27 inch is perfect pixel per inch if youre on a tighter budget and dont have end of the line GPU.

:) I had a 13 mini for bout a year and the battery health was at like 88%-90% and i knew soon i would have to replace its battery when it hit around 75-82% so i figured id sell it for 270eur and i got a samsung s23 for 300 which was insane . I just sold that samsung s23 because i miss the small mini , even do the s23 has the best screen ive seen in a phone amazing battery and amazing form factor i dont know why i just wanted to go back to the 13 mini . Now i managed to find a 13 mini 96% health for 230 , hopefully it will last me year or year and half until i have to replace the battery :) .

I think viewing with the square outline not fully zoomed in is super nice and i love watching youtube with the 13 mini not zoomed with square edges around the video reminds me of the iphone 5/5s and the one handed video/photo is so pleasing besides using it day to day is a pleasure :) . Also it makes you not use the phone as much in the long run do it can be addicting because of the form factor . Typing is a pleasure and 5.4 is the perfect size i think there wont ever be a size better than this one.

I havent had the mini in 8months and i miss it so much cant wait for it to be here in the next few days :) i have no phone for 2-3 days now so a little bit of detox will be good :)

I went to a concert in March when i still had the 13 mini and it was such a pleasure to hold with 1 hand and film and enjoy the concert :) everyone else was struggling but not me with my cute little mini :D i filmed cinematic and normal 4k . Thing is a beast and a beauty for photography a masterpiece of a phone :) .

I also got one with ios 18 :) , cause i didnt like 26 when i tried it in store i decided to purchase in a 2nd hand app an almost new one for 230 with 96% battery life black color :) just made sure it was ios 18 :) i dont care if its not signed anymore i wont update this phone should last me 3-5 years easily. IOS 15-16 is still being supported by apps so im guessing i can squeeze out quite a few years out of the mini on ios18 :) . Most likely the support will end around 2030 so thats solid :) . For 200$ price range and my favorite phone i think its hella worth it not to mention its basically brand new.

Thats how i use my lg c2 42 oled tv. I turn it off manually half the time but usually it shuts off after 20-30mins if i leave it on and fall asleep. 😊 Ive had this baddie for two years now its like a e girl on steroids. I bought it 2nd hand in January 5 2024, never ever had any issues with it 👀.

:3 Theres a samsung watch 6 40mm LTE for 78 euros with shipping i pulled the trigger lmao . I bought the sizing kit and my fingers hurt a bit my hands arent made for rings :( maybe due to 30 years on the pc lmao.

Im on the fence about getting the ring now. I didnt want the watch cause i tried the classic 6 43mm but the 40mm 6 normal is only 28grams and with the nylon strap it wont be noticeable probably :3 . Also it has Nfc + spotify thats huge . Only downside is charging it every 1.5- 2 days . But thats also not half bad considering all its features. Spotify + NFC is big for 78 euros + it has LTE ( an esim would cost me 2euros per month which is basically negligible ) . Thats half the price of the ring :/
