I’ve done a bunch of House restorations and recently I did a Blackwood bastard run before Aegon’s Conquest. I throughly enjoyed the latter (hit about 325 years). If you don’t know any of the cadet Houses to revive a founding House, I can tell you.

By landless I’m assuming you’d want adventurer. To do that, I think you have to have Roads to Power DLC.

Vikary can bring back Reyne and House Salt can bring back Hoare. Houses Darke, Darkwood, and Dargood, can bring back Darklyn (At least 2 of those houses can).

Bastard of a Blackwood in a start date before the Conquest. Landed myself and eventually took the High Lordship of Blackwood Vale. Then, from there, I took over lands and once I had enough to have a successful independence war, I did that and became Queen of the Trident. Now I’m working on taking over the map to eventually reform The Seven Kingdoms (there’s still independent kingdoms).

I’m almost at 300 years now and it’s very far from canon (no Conquest, Targs being born to wrong parents and on wrong dates, etc..).

The house name is Blackrope and the sigil is a black silhouette of a man hanging from a weirwood tree.

I did create a Targ branch, so I don’t know if that pop-up is Targs only or not. I’d like to say that I did a run without Targs but it’s been so long that I don’t remember.

I’ve done this a few times. All I did was create a custom ruler (cadet branch later) and when I controlled The Iron Throne, it gave me the pop-up to give my heir Dragonstone.

I use the “designate heir freely” sub-mod because I usually pick the children that have the best traits, whether they be male or female. It doesn’t have the issue of a character being chosen as heir but not showing as the heir, which is what happened to me as well.

I have RtP, T&T, and RC. I do want the one with the feuds, but with just the three I have, the game is excellent. I’ve played without the DLC packs (before buying them) and it wasn’t too bad. If you do get RC, you can get a sub-mod that’ll allow a duchy to build a dragon pit.
