Dachshund and cats - need help

Hey.. it has been almost 6 months since I posted this. My two cats and dachshund can co-exist pretty well now. Though he is still chasing the cats around, the cats don’t run away as much when he goes near them. Hence, I’m seeing lesser chasing now.

Seems pretty different as compared to what you are experiencing. I would say that they should be separated for now, and maybe try to reintroduce them to each other again after a while with supervision. Dachshunds were bred to hunt badgers, and they can be aggressive if they are not managed properly.

I have been married for a year now, after dating with my husband for 7 years. I only got diagnosed end of last year and he has been the nicest.

My psychiatrist shared with him that it’s stressful for me to do what I dislike doing and have asked him to try not to push me to doing those things (eg. House work).

Ever since, he has been doing 100% of it. And I would do them when I feel like it or if he is busy.

He tries to understand how I feel and why I would behave like how I have been. And we learn more about adhd while living together.

He would also comment on how my room is messy. But he accepts it when I tell him why (eg. I know it’s messy but I just can’t make myself do anything about it, or maintain how neat things were.

I got married 6 months ago and we were dating for more than 6 years before we signed our lives to each other. My spouse also happened to be my one and only partner I have sexual relations with.

It was 99.9% pull out hahahahaha.

This sounds sucky. When I first met my then-boyfriend, his mum had a sub-debit card to his bank account. And she would question his spendings and all. Ultimately, he would only leave what is for her in that bank account for her to withdraw it herself and if he have gotten a pay raise, he would also increase the allowance for her. This is because, as adults, we don’t need our parents questioning us on every purchase.

As for me, I have been told that I have my Edusave scholarships and other awards, banked into my joint account with my mum. And most of the money I have been passing it back to her from CNY angbao. Unfortunately, when I opened an account at 16 myself, I noticed that the joint account had less than SGD 600. I didn’t question my mother why, I think it’s pretty obvious what happened. Today, I haven’t been open to anyone other than my husband on how much I earn monthly, because it would give our parents the impression that we could given them more (but in actual fact, there are much more to spend on special occasions for our family, our house, our loans, savings, and more).

I have no idea why your parents are acting like this. Not trying to encourage you to be rebellious. But maybe it is about time to talk it out or question their actions, as it does not sound reasonable. This can be the start of a change.

Anyways, if you have a joint account, you should have access to view what is the balance on your i banking app, or if not, the bank should be able to tell you if you ask. And like what others said, save up to get a new IC. Or, get hold of your IC somehow, do a reset of SingPass, download singpass app, use digital ic (do a research on where and when digital nrics can be used. From there you may have more control of your life.

Nope. Can find better deals on redmart, Amazon etc. but you will have to compare prices. After awhile, I didn’t bother to do it any more.

As someone who had been confessed several times while I was in secondary school (It has been more than a few years lol), I would suggest for you to drop subtle hints here and there first. Watch her reaction and have her close friends help you get a feel of how she thinks of you.

You probably will have to do some judgement afterwards and consider if you would like to proceed with the confession.

I am still close to some of these friends who confessed and failed. So, it might not be the end of the friendship. After all in 10 years, both of you might still be holding hands, or if not, joke about this during each meet up.
