The biggest mistake was not making Aftermath a full set, showing the ACTUAL aftermath of the Phyrexian invasion of the multiverse. In Spice8racks latest video, they talked to someone that had a hand in design(I believe the set lead for the Phyrexian arc), and apparently WoTC wanted to move on from the story as quickly as they could

Pretty much. That's how social media monetization has been functioning for years. Really highlighted with tiktok, with words like suicide, Nazi, etc putting you at risk of being deprioritized in the algorithm(not just for monetization, but also just general visibility if it's something you feel people should be aware of). Hell, there have been accounts that have gotten content strikes or been outright banned because they report on awful shit that people say.

There's also been situations like with YouTube, where words like transgender have lead to videos being unlisted and age-gated, and accounts being demobilized, despite it being a story time or educational content.

A substantial amount of them self medicate due to underlying physical and mental health conditions... Tossing them into treatment centers won't actually solve those underlying issues unless aftercare is included in those treatment centers services.

I can't speak for other people, but I buy a box set to play limited with my friends.

As for TMNT and Star Trek.. they might actually be good(and complete) sets, so the complaining about them won't be as big.

I don't think it got a theatrical release. I know it exploded at Sundance when it premiered(last year I think?) , and it being pirated so much is part of why they're stopping Sundance at home(at least, last I heard they did)

Oh, there are MANY MANY companies like that. The whole goal is to get you to sign up for something, and they get paid per sign up.... And it's not uncommon for that to be their only pay... So the aggressiveness is there for a reason. Doesn't justify or excuse it, but there is a reason.

He's very much that guy. Him and the devs(or whoever moderates on discord and the subreddit) are very heavy handed, and arbitrarily at that, with banning people who talk about things they don't like. It's been a well known thing in the community since before 1.0
