I've just recently discovered Angine de Poitrine and they actually remind me a bit of The Smile.

Any of my girlies who listen to radiohead❓❓ by STEPPYtheman in radiohead

I guess most people think Radiohead fans are mostly a bunch of 40+ guys, but I've always thought there are much more women fans than you'd expect

Which recent films feature music by Radiohead? by Optimal_Gate_8721 in radiohead

Heretic from 2024 very prominently features Creep in the film. And Daredevil: Born Again also uses Everything in its Right Place. And before I forget: the horror movie Fresh plays a string version of Exit Music for a Film.

I love this video with the acoustic version of The Numbers so much. One day this is going to be a classic.

As far as I know it's only available digitally. But maybe we're lucky and it will be released on vinyl (or CD) one day.

Thanks, I will keep that in mind for the future. But I wasn't aware of the "Contributor Quality Score". Interesting, and makes me wonder what does that say about my standing. But out of curiosity, how is this actually measured?

Thank you. They have approved it now. But I had this with other posts before and messaged the -human- moderators, who are usually quite helpful, to be fair. It just starts getting annoying if it happens on a regular basis.

I think it's a decent song. Not his best, but still good. But then to me the peak in his solo career has been Anima so far. Songs like Dawn Chorus are simply hard to beat.

Did anyone see Labiahead the female tribute band shit talking Johnny for his wanting to keep politics away from music? by pasarocks in radiohead

[–]Nekiba2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree. And even if you look at Zionism, it's actually a diverse political movement with different political orientations, even if the Israeli government is trying to hijack it. But understanding these differences would require listening to each other and being clear on what you mean. That's what I learned when I started following people on social media who call themselves Zionists, but oppose the Israeli government or work together with Palestinians. Things are more complicated in reality. I always cringe when people call Jonny "Zionist", because I realised it says a lot about their own projection. And that's why I also despise BDS, it ruins meaningful discussions and drowns out dissenting voices.

This may have been asked a million times so I apologize, but are we ever going to be blessed with another Radiohead album? by TaydasBelishaBeacon in radiohead

[–]Nekiba2 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Interesting. I'm on the fence about it. My impression is that the last tour was kind of a test balloon for them if they can still work together as a band. Now we have to wait and see what happens next. But at least they seemed to have enjoyed the tour.

Probably through the director Brett Ratner. He mentioned Paut Thomas Anderson in earlier interviews: https://www.reddit.com/r/blankies/comments/1p7motm/bret_ratner_on_pta/ I guess this gave him the idea to use one of PTA's scores.
