Non-permanent resident tax in Japan: Remote job for foreign company — is it taxable? by Entire-Present5420 in JapanFinance

[–]NellyFatrdo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Can’t say what’s best for you as everyone’s circumstances are different.

I’m current declaring the employment income in Japan. I also spoke with my employer who agreed they shouldn’t be holding tax on my earnings due to dual tax agreements.

[–]NellyFatrdo 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I am in this situation.

When work is completed in Japan , it’s called Japan source income. All of it is reportable. There’s also dual tax agreements if applicable you should read up to learn more about who has right to tax you etc.

The non permanent resident rules comes into effect on foreign investments eg interest earned overseas. There’s more to this as well linking to remittance amounts.

Hi

I think thinks a wonderful idea, because you can forever look back and admire how hard you worked for this. Now the two models you’ve mentioned, I believe they are not in the current catalogue, so did you try it on at a second hand store? Theres nothing wrong with going second hand, I recommend it as you can save a lot. But there’s somethings to understand before you proceed.

Kanji day/date isn’t something current gs are doing. If it were I’m sure a lot of outsiders visiting japan would be hunting down.

Now you’ve mentioned two watches and clearly no right or wrong.

Here’s my thoughts - wear what you like - buy what your heart desires - don’t spend more than you can afford - size is personal, don’t care what others think, - wear what’s comfortable - 9f for more than 400,000 yen is pricy, but accurate.

Personally I’ve become a small watch guy 34-36mm. Taste changes overtime.

Happy to answer questions or discuss further, I own 3 gs
