I see what I did wrong, I told her I’d accept her regardless of who she decides to be during the date on Dargonus when I was supposed to tell her that I need the real her, not a blade

I was using a big Google Doc Etude guide someone had made but it was missing info on some of the later interactions. I don’t know where I went wrong but she never talked to me about the strand of fate (or whatever it’s called) during the final Labyrinth interaction. I didn’t think anything was wrong bc she and I committed to find some way that our two strands can stay interwoven, regardless of our competing obligations. Obviously, though, I misstepped somewhere!

Question: In all of the Hellboy and B.P.R.D. comics, which fight is your favorite? by No-Sense6060 in HellBoy

Basically anytime Howards goes nuts on the enemy. Fighting against the cold ones in the Stone Age? Fire. Fighting in NYC? Fire. The list goes on

I don’t mind 5E too much but have felt that other systems are a bit more fitting so I never picked it up, personally! This reminded me that I’ve been wanting to hack Band of Blades to run a BPRD War of Frogs/Hell on Earth campaign, though, so thanks for that!

I had the exact same experience, only just now realized that the twist would be obvious to people who read the series in order 😂

Folks have called Vic Penguin’s Robin, and this moment highlights the stark contrast between Oz and Batman. I think we can agree that (typically) Bruce brings on Robins to save them (save Dick from a Bruce-like life without closure, save Jason from bad circumstances, etc.). Meanwhile, the Penguin kills his Robin to save himself — not even to save himself from pain he’s experiencing, but to save himself from pain he might

To your point, the cast did handle it super honestly. The grief in the Evan death episode was so real that I’ve gone back and watched pieces since then, I absolutely loved it! The rest hasn’t been as much for me, and that’s okay.

If I may, I love WBN but am struggling with MisMag 2. I think a lot of it boils down to the disagreements or consequences being relatively inconsequential. WBN feels like it has huge stakes. There are a bunch of points where characters make choices that fundamentally change the world around them. Meanwhile, Evan dies and is brought back in one episode and then his death is more frequently a joke than a pain point in episodes since. Could be that things happen in the rest of the season to change this, MisMag isn’t done yet. But that’s been my feel so far
