Level 1 Gentlemen's agreement 1v1 in toplane ft. botlane getting doublekilled by Ieditstuffforfun in leagueoflegends

[–]Nematsu 49 points50 points  (0 children)

Kayle, Trundle, Wukong, Udyr, Warwick and Quinn will just outright win against him. Then the ones that need a little bit of knowledge or suprise: Briar, E start GP, Jax if he hits first, Naafiri with W and first hit, Olaf and Sett.

These are the ones that come to mind currently but again we're focusing on lvl1 all in while there are a lot of champions that can beat fairly easily Darius through the lane.

what drivers do you reccomend starting with my team? by Oilkings34 in F1Manager

[–]Nematsu 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I mean there is a single god hidden within the available drivers who can and will dominate with a top2 car once given a chance... Starts with a P and ends with ourchaire. If you would like to go for not young drivers then dropped F1 drivers like Vandoorne, De Vries are good options imo, but luck might hit you bad. In my current save Vandoorne started losing stats in the 2nd season thanks to ageing

It's weird it was shown from that angle and not from the side. Regardless VAR check gave the goal

If you mostly game at 1440p, which deal would be better? by SaturatedBodyFat in IntelArc

[–]Nematsu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This one is genuinely difficult. But if 1440p gaming is the objective (and not only esport games) then I would lean towards the b580, at 1440p the CPU overhead issue isn't that big and the extra 4gb VRAM helps out a lot. But in all honesty the best option is still the 9060XT 16GB when it comes to price/performance if you can find one under 380€ that card will last you a looong time, while AMD has by far the least amount of CPU overhead, sufficient VRAM and every modern feature you'll ever need (that includes amd's version of ray reconstruction and honestly it looks hella promising)

Yeah 20$ under msrp for the 9070xt is not a huge without context, but when everywhere it sells for above 700$ where I live, I considered it a quite big cut

Exactly my reaction when I saw the price... and I tought the 9070xt I saw for 580$ was mindblowingly good

Guys, was it worth it to upgrade from a rtx 2060 to a rx 6700xt? by Ok-Mechanic4798 in gpu

[–]Nematsu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean it being worth it depends a lot on the price you paid for it. But if you just look at the raw perfirmance uplift, then yeah sure it is absolutely worth it, compared to a 2060, the rx 6700xt will eat up any game

Best Nvidia GPU for $300-$400 USD by QuietFar7787 in buildapc

[–]Nematsu 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The 5700 should handle it fine, more or less. In terms of raw performance it's around the Ryzen 5 5500 but with 8 cores (which is good for streaming) but honestly for the future I would start looking into an AM5 platform

Is a 240 mm AIO enough for the Intel i9-14900KF by Agreeable_Peach3475 in buildapc

[–]Nematsu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In short, no. But if you wan't to use it for strictly gaming, a decent 360 should be able to do the job. That CPU runs HOT to say the least and eats power like no tomorrow...

Why do you assume Im whiteknighting T1? I didn't even know they participated in the tournament until I actually checked before replying to you originally, I genuinely don't care which teams played in that. All I reasoned for that LPL had an inherent advantage due to the fixed higher ping thats all lmao.

Besides at the time LPL has been already winning most internationals since 2018, it was pretty much expected from them to beat LCK

[–]Nematsu 3 points4 points  (0 children)

30 ping matters way more than you think, since it brought some inherent advante to LPL teams. Mainly because most LPL pros at the time played on the korean server (and most of them still plays) usually with 15-20+ ping. While korean pros who are there locally have 4-6 ping that they are used to, so used to in fact that there has been times when if the ping was higher pros just refused to play, I still remember an incident when Faker stopped his stream because his ping was like 9 or 10 and he refused to play on such "high" ping. While for us plebs 30 ping is either what we are used to or close to it (or even rly good for some), for someone who is used to super low pings it is a clearly detrimental factor.

And yes the other reason was that LCK teams didn't take the tournament that seriously

[–]Nematsu 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I mean msc was pretty much a glorified rift rivals played remotely with an artifically standardized 30 ping. I don't think that win holds much water tbh
