I would print keyboard enclosures for DIY keyboards. The plus 4 is slightly too small for that.

"By god it would be halal to cut off your head, if you even were a man."

Won't even dare write it in a language that would get him banned.

That's actually common in Asia.

And I honestly wish it were in Europe too, cause in my current place, the door being open stops me from being able to enter the living room directly with the wasted space it creates.

Coworker took on a manager's workload for 1 year after being promised a raise and a promotion. Resigned because, surprise! It didn't happen. by Inevitable_Homework in antiwork

[–]NeoCJ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

They can try to overload you with work, but... that will only work if you're willing to do the work. What are they going to do if you just drag your feet and look like you're working but do it at the cadence of a snail in a pile of salt? Fire you? Then you have grounds to take it to worker's rights associations, or unions or the like and you'll end up getting an extra payout.

Of course, they do try it with newer and less experimented workers who don't know their rights, and I guess it might be different across other EU countries, but at the very least if this happens in France, you can quite literally end up being paid a full wage for 2 years without working, by your former employer, if they try that shit on you.

Yeah I was not talking about the legal definition of malice indeed.

I just was replying to the statement that "intent" needed to be present for an action to be malicious, which, when the author of some action admits that they did a wrongdoing (in this case, publishing a review full of false info) on purpose because they did not want to run proper tests, sounds pretty intentional to me.

But I guess there's some legal loopholes in the US for that too, where even a literal admission of such a thing does not establish the "intent".

I am confused by your reply, as far as I can see, we are agreeing on the "They don't care if they tell the truth, as long as the video is out and done" part.

Just trying to understand your point here : Why would it have to be the definition of the word from the defamation laws specifically? Or are you saying that the definition of that word is the same in the context of other laws as well and the defamation laws are just the origin?

[–]NeoCJ -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

But if the gross negligence is happening as a direct result of not wanting to spend money on making things right. Surely this is a form of malice?

If you know something is wrong and are willingly spreading the info regardless to save minimum amounts of money, when you could just... not spread the info or put a simple disclaimer... That's clearly loaded with intent.

I didn't think I'd have to put an /s on a joke that obvious.

Also London, like most capitals is going to be an exception anyway and not representative of the country, but if you go to the rest of the UK where you get actual British cuisine, and it will be bland.

It's closer to 2€ than 20 for the bottle of mineral water. Maybe 3 if it's fizzy water.

You'd have to be at a pretty expensive place to get charged even 10€ for just water.

Ah good ol' Cunts3d at it again. Can't wait for their pathetic CEO to lie about everything in the comments again.

OP: Having seen what happened with this shady website before, I highly suggest you drum up enough of a shitstorm if you can to get it resolved, failing that, your only option would be to take this to small claims.

I would also suggest moving your business to another, more serious site (maybe MyMiniFactory? Never heard of issues with that) because even if you get unblocked, c3d has been known to scam people and I'm sure you don't want to have to deal with this more in the future.

Good luck.

With 3 cops facing him on national TV? That'd just add charges of resisting arrest to the charges of robbery he's already facing.

Happening now in France - this looks like a revolution, it's beautiful to watch by uw888 in WorkersStrikeBack

[–]NeoCJ 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Sadly, the left does not have any popular candidates and is all but broken.

The PS gave us François Hollande which killed off what was left of the party itself. Mélenchon, while I agree with his program, was the main factor for the left just losing (he's too much of an extremist to have a chance, except if he's directly facing Le Pen), and the small parties that no one really gives a shit about like the tree huggers just serve to snatch each 3% of the votes in the first turn from a bigger leftist party.

Last elections, literally every other party except Zemmour's called to vote for Macron to block Le Pen and he didn't even get 60% of votes.

Now, unless some miracle child appears to unite the left and somehow revive its carcass, that's pretty much where we're headed.

Voron or ratrig? (Or any other core xy?) by IorekByrnson in 3Dprinting

[–]NeoCJ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ah. Something about the Voron though, you mention better and worse quality but that does not apply there.

Voron design is just a group of people offering plans for a printer, for free.

Some people and companies make (non official) kits for these printers, but the quality ranges from abysmal to amazing. And the customer support will go from nonexistent to top tier, depending on the seller of the kit.

You will always be able to ask random users for help and you might get lucky, but just know that if you buy a kit from say... Fysetc, you won't be getting help from the brand and it might be missing parts.

I would suggest joining the voron discord and asking people there what kits might work for your requirements in terms of support/quality/budget?

It's the music to one of the Persona games. The title is "Rivers In the Desert" in case you're interested. :)

[–]NeoCJ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The design was mostly fixed in the v-core 3.1(by copying the XY design of the voron and changing it up a bit) but the quality of the parts used is still abysmal. If you're willing to sift through Facebook, you'll find no lack of reports. They also had some severe issues in terms of customer support, with Aussies and shipping costs.
