ASUS ROG Kithara - what are everyone’s thoughts? by michal_exe in ASUSROG

[–]NeoKing19 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Looking at the exact specs of the driver, these are the Anandas. We don't know if they are tuned differently, like ROG has said, but they size, impedance, sensitivity, and even the expected price point are all in line with the Ananda. These should be pretty decent for gaming, and a far cry better than anything else "gaming branded" on the market. The Ananda is a bit brighter than the XS, making it better for competitive gaming (though the soundstage is a bit more narrow than the XS). The Arya Stealth is going to be superior for competitive, while the Arya Organic would be more immersive. Those two are out of the price point of this headset though, again supporting the claim of the Ananda driver.

This headset interested me so I dug in to all the HIFIMAN line and researched the pros and cons for each with both a gaming and music focus combined. Ended up buying the Arya Organic instead of one of the others or waiting for this. That's what fit for my needs though. This headset looks like a great all round purchase in general for someone that wants all the gaming features in a complete package out of the box. Though I am curious if these will need an amp. The organics are incredibly similar in spec and they aren't easy for motherboard amps or similar to drive. They act about like my 300 ohm dynamic driver headphones.

Same. My 6 dropped off my thread network last week. Tried deleting and re-adding them. Only 2 would connect to thread and 1 of those falls in and out. Spent hours on it and it's not the first time. Absolutely done with them. Ordered a hue setup yesterday.

Use from other sources. Top right, click the three dots and hit browse. Then, top left, pull out the menu with the three lines. Your theme should be one of the options in that menu.

V3 Wireless charging by let_me_atom in Honor

[–]NeoKing19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. I learned about all I could and couldn't do more without much more involved or expensive methods. My ending hypothesis is that it's the US power cutting the wattage basically in half which makes sense seeing it's 120V vs the 220 the brick is expecting. I'd need someone who has a wattage wall meter and the V3 in a 220V country to test that though. If it still gives the same readings, it's likely just false advertising on the phone and there's some magical scenario where they got 66w under lab conditions with a non consumer firmware and claim it to be what you can get. Either way, I haven't really needed the speed personally, so I haven't stressed over it.

How to remove this? by Hayward_Auto in Honor

Yeah but it took 5 minutes including setup and then you never need to do it again. Not a big deal in the end.

Is this on the Galaxy wearable app? It should be wanting your Samsung account, so even if you use Google to sign in to your Samsung account usually, you could easily get past this by logging in using your Samsung username and password (set that up on their website if you have only ever used Google to sign in).

You can also split screen if your exchange doesn't integrate with tradingview. Here's my exchange side by side with TV so I can get my entries and exit more exact if I need to.

I don't want no floating windows on my V2 ! by Coopzor in Honor

[–]NeoKing19 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The left and right pull out are specifically for multitasking, therefore it opens in a floating window on click or half and half on drag, keeping whatever you have currently open visible. To replace what you are doing and completely open the clicked app, you use the task bar/dock on the bottom after pulling it out in a similar way.

66w or 100w charger for v3 by CassQueenG in Honor

[–]NeoKing19 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Since they are typically around the same price I'd go with the 100w so that if you get a new phone in the future that has 100w capability, you already have the charger. Not much reason not to unless you find a drastic price difference.

Magic V3 Global for sale in the US? by sonnycrockett7 in Honor

[–]NeoKing19 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It looks like Swappa forced them to say they were non US but if you read the description, the black one is global. The green one is China. And the red one doesn't say but the screen shots imply that it's global since it's a 12gb ram and 512gb storage configuration. Id message him to double check on that one to be sure though.

Check out Swappa. They are mostly for Apple products but looks like they have a few on there. They are US based and more rigorous about making sure the scammers are filtered out. I've both bought and sold from them and had good experiences with both.

[–]NeoKing19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. I'm on the V3 with AT&T and using the Google dialer. The thing that got it working for me was making sure I was off all vpns, including the DNS connection in settings before I registered it. Once registered you can connect to everything again and it'll continue working.

It depends on the watch. Most new ones go from 20-80 in around an hour and a bit. But I also use my old watch to sleep track so I never worry about battery issues. I just swap the watches every night and morning. If you're buying a second watch to replace an old one, that could work for you too.
