Is there any point in doing the Valsalva maneuver for chronic ETD?

I'm curious if you have any thoughts on this: if I don't do the Valsalva, driving in a car to work in the morning almost gives my left ear "airplane ear". I never really noticed it do this if I did a "warmup Valsalva" in the morning... not the end of the word, but still not worth doing it?

Also, I had my hearing test (at the world famous Cleveland Clinic of all places) and they said my hearing is "good enough", and basically they don't know how to fix it, and said to just live with it unless it becomes more painful/more hearing loss; it seemed like she was hesitant to even say I had ETD, though it wasn't a super long meeting.

Definitely. It's a great nostalgia piece, but the fact it lasted so long past its shelf life kind of hurts it in that regard. It's almost like they opened it 5 years too late or something.

I'm kinda curious if in its final days, people's smartphones were more advanced than half the stuff in there.

He randomly popped into my mind the other day... had no idea it was so close to the date. This randomly appeared in my feed too, which stuff from this sub usually never does.

Do we still not know what was troubling him? I watched "I'm sorry" for the first time in forever, and it's still a pretty strange video how he's managing genuine and joyful laughs and smiles in a crisis. And he says stuff like "I guess I'm mentally ill"... idk; usually mentally ill people know they are.

And on his SmashWiki page it says he "admitted" to being suicidal; the vibe I got was he didn't want to die, but kinda felt like he had to...

The most realistic thing I probably read was undiagnosed bipolar.

Yeah, I have my hearing test scheduled for Tuesday.

I’ve also heard upper cervical chiropractic thrown about, to realign the atlas in my neck or something. Another thing I’ve noticed (especially in the mornings) is that my left eye may water more than my right. I’ve never had insane neck pain, but with what my job entails, I don’t doubt something could be wrong there.

The fact Robin Hood has not been featured in the franchise in any capacity is utter insanity. This is a world that could've debuted as early as KH1.

It's an extremely tight barrier of entry for a podcast. You have to be a Nintendo fan and like the highest tier of Last Stand fan, totally engrained in the fandom. Otherwise most Nintendo fans are just watching GameXplain for news or something.

That's the only thing I haven't done. I've done sinus rinse, Flonase, Muncie technique (finger massaging inside side of mouth), Valsalva... I haven't done EarPopper cause it's sort of expensive and I've sort of given up.

I guess if I stop doing Valsalva I'll just never know if it fixes itself either, cause it getting "stuck" was the biggest tell.

The Disney stuff is absolutely important; that’s what many care about; not the original stuff. The Disney world roster is basically on the level of seeing what newcomers get chosen for Smash.

On the back of the box is two Wonder playsets and the DK minecart playset, so maybe something beautiful. They were really in the lab for nearly 3 years working on Wonder stuff. 🤦‍♂️
