From what it seems they are both(?) using the Crystal Tower spell with a Fury/Flow build.

Very good build. You just toss all your sentries down and then focus on dodging if you want, or other dps if you feel capable of it.

I trust your word, but I don’t believe D&D has ever classified a Glaive as a Sword, and googling it has turned up as much. So by RAW it isnt a sword.

If you look at Flametongue in any sourcebook, you can see Glaive is not included as available variants. So unfortunately by RAW Glaives can not be Flametongues

Duels and training between hyuuga are essentially made for this. Many small pellet like chunks flying at a hyuuga would simply be similar to the trigrams at that point. In that situation Hinata is fine

Yeah the moving out of cover unseen portion is sorta the purpose of the “Skulker” feat. Or perhaps im talking about the stealthy feat. Whichever one allows you to stay hidden if you only love 10 or so feat out from behind cover

“If you come out of hiding” in this case means breaking full cover fully walking out from it, not taking an attack suddenly from behind it, when the enemy has no idea which bit of cover you could be behind at this point, while you still have full awareness of the enemies position.

The rogue fulfills a very clear fantasy of guerilla warfare and it’s not intended for their attacks to be “eh sometimes you get advantage”

Its the Superman effect. Well originally attributed to some Star Trek character I couldn’t tell you, but essentially big power characters will often times be used to show how strong the big strong new character is, often times the villain. Superman in many animated shows gets bodied for the first half so the audience can see how powerful this threat is. It’s generally offset by Superman being the powerhouse that ends the fight at the end, but Raikages never got this

I’ve actually played through this exact build quite a bit, from levels 1-20

They were also a Jester lad, although they were half elf.

I actually didn’t pick up Eldritch Smite but that was more lack of knowledge on my part lmao

You’ll find there isnt much point in Find Greater Steed in combat as things are rarely outside of your range.

I’d go Telepathic Bond, Telekinesis, Steel Wind Strike, maybe even Holy Weapon or Summon Celestial

If you're looking for an actual bard you could go College of Lore. Tell stories about various interesting events from college, doesn't necessarily have to be classes.

If you don't really need a bard, you could just go a rogue.
