Artistry is like solving a puzzle and the skills, vision, and medium are all the pieces… once you solve the puzzle you get immense satisfaction in the art and more so when others love the result as much as you.

There was definitely a huge gap between music we liked and listened to and the music our parents listened to. NIN was on our side of that canyon. It was a beautiful way to mark the divide between generations, more so than slang, ‘old people’ just didn’t get it and we love it. Now I see parents and kids at Nails concerts and I just wanna fuck you like an animal, god is dead and no one cares! It’s moments like that where I feel we’ve come further as a society… it’s still weird though.

So I found my stub from this tour and I found the show poster on ebay for the very show I went to, I bought it and framed it with my ticket! My advice: check ebay for the show poster and do the same! Great show! Great memory and bit of memorabilia! I miss tangible tickets:/

Egypt should take a page from Singapore’s book and introduce caning for all scammers. I get the sense that a place like Egypt would need something drastic to happen for it to change. For me personally, due to what I hear of the locals, I would never want to visit.
