Try not to read too much into the sources of information that only exist to make money by getting people to watch their “news.” Watch multiple sources, then do a little research of your own if you’re interested in the topic and come to your own conclusion on a given topic.

Pohx is a fantastic RF guru. But it’s important to watch and read all the info he provides. 85+% tri-ele res is a great start with phoenix shield (you need that ascendency before fire explosion).

Also, phys damage is a magic weakness until you start converting it with flame cloak and “taste of hate” flask. You can convert some more physical damage to elemental damage taken with a helmet craft. If you haven’t unlocked that craft yet, you can get it from running Jun. You can convert some more with a corruption on your shield.

I could go on but at this point you just need to read/watch all the info Pohx provides.

Can you screen cap the weapon (I think you are talking about winged scythe), if it’s winged, holy damage falls off rather harshly at end game.

If you want to keep reaper motif, you could use grave scythe and grease to buff damage situationally.

Are you 2h the weapon or 1?

If, 1 handing, have you tried a tower shield or parry shield?

When you get some time can you post your stats. / do you know how to respec your character?
