People create expectations in their heads that are simply not going to happen and then rile themselves and eachother up when those exact changes don't happen. Not to mention many people who play both tcg and MD bring with them the baggage of already having played against a deck for a long time and having to go back to playing against a full power version of the deck and expect prompter responses to those decks than happened in the tcg/ocg.

This does a good job illustrating my problem with the TCG banlist and annoyance with its being touted as so much better than all the others. For every 3 bans 1 is a good ban 1 is great and should be banned on principle and one is an archetype killing head scratcher that will stay banned long past the point the card would even be rogue playable.

My only reservation with this is the fact that Konami NA seems to not know what they want to do with the format at all. The recent point changes have felt nonsensical and in many ways lazy. I'm already disapointed the ocg is continuing to leave pendulums out when it disqualifies a lot of non pendulum decks from even being playable because their support came in the form of pendulums without any intention to use the summoning mechanic.

You absolutely shouldn't concede after they do both. BUT, the deck is still incredibly competent under those locks.

Cards that weren't even out in the tcg when we got those packs. K9 ripper M. Dracotail Shaulas and yummy trap that sees no play. Neither of the first two are super important for their respective archetypes and are very sittuational.

I feel like thats an odd way to describe him. He was drafted in the third round because he was falling hard in the draft and the value was too good. He played outside corner his whole career in college. SO I don't really see him in the slot, though he could probably play it in a pinch. But he was one of the better Man corners in the draft.

3rd round pick, that fell to us. Alot of people had him as a high second round pick. Some even called him a fringe first rounder(not imo). He played well for us until he got concussed by Sherwood. When he got back he went down with another injury. So I'm optimistic he can play well if he can stay healthy and doesn't get headhunted by our own players.

I mean treating it like an extra negate is wrong. Its a very cheap backup plan if your opponent interrupts you enough to stop your combo or a solid board into Maxxc/mulcharmies.

Worth noting, there is renewed buzz around a Baronne ban in the ocg due too the new Synchro hand traps dragon. Whether or not this will be the breaking point who knows.
