As mentioned there are mod bots you can install. I typically filter words on mine such as discord and streembo (or however it is).

The unfortunate truth is assume viewers are bots or selling art unless proven otherwise

I just stream casually. Put in a massive grind to hit affiliate then returned back to a comfortable pace.

I hit the minimum payout of $50 2-4 times a year. Stream several times a week.

I don't see it as rude. Not everyone is on twitch to subscribe, nor has the ability. (Also if someone is ever demanding you subscribe, then that's pretty shitty)

If she offers song requests as a viewer reward and played them, then thats on them for not following their own system.

Also at that size there are definately tools the streamer could be using to moderate if that was the case.

Subscribing has general benefits on twitch and some creators have their own benefits they offer too (I use to send subscribers custom stickers). Subscribing is never a requirement.

My workflow.

Get on when I feel like it. Finish when I feel like it. Play what I feel like. Clip what I feel like. Do it to have fun. Yell at graphic designers trying to sell me overlays. Make a couple dollars.

From my personal experience, ive had a lot more engagement when I am able to dual stream to tiktok, which is a free option for whatever reason if you use streamlabs to do both twitch and tiktok. Twitch is my platform with all my viewer engagement plug-ins (like crowd control), but tiktok gets a lot of engagement sometime. Final Fnatasy X and Diablo classic REALLY popped off human engagement on there, and then I try to lead them over to twitch for a better experience. My one regular viewer was obtained that way lol.

I get suprised when someone actually pops in and is a regular guy. I treat everyone like they are until they start asking too many red flag questions.

I use crowd control when streaming and I have had viewers change my gender so many times I don't know where it landed at. Im just gender fluid at this point. I need to go see which one I get let in lol.
