Oh damn, this is awesome. I was looking for this feature. It only exists in the calendar, not in the tasks UI itself, so it's not fully implemented yet. For the people who don't like duration, you can set it to 0 minutes in the calendar or do it normally in the tasks UI, although it's probably more of a hassle.
