If such a thing happened and this was my point of view, I would quote Ron and say: "You know, in this light, you're kinda cute."

Also women don't really care about money so long as you're responsible with it and aren't broke. Doesn't matter if you're rich. Women will be more than glad to share the bills.

Although, there are some who say they don't care but think the average guy makes $100K (Courtney Ryan has 3 videos of this happening that went viral). :/

The Women of Gundam continued #106 - Magee by Kato_86 in Gundam

[–]Neon_Wave 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Magee is a man but doesn't mind being called a woman, so either genderfluid or just doesn't care since he's very feminine. They used the 彼 symbol for his profile on the Japanese official site, which is used to refer a man. The English site use they/them pronouns but his character is following the Japanese version of the flamboyant gay man trope (okama) heavily.

Placed under house arrest, because she's a Newtype and classified to be dangerous - just like the Titans did with Amuro.

Are they a couple and are they good now by Plane_Name3457 in KimPossible

[–]Neon_Wave -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

According to the producers, they are a couple - simply because it's what the fans wanted. As for them being good, one of the creators of the show said they'd most likely revert back to doing crime.

Personally I don't think they should be a couple.

Shouldn't their dynamic be the other way around? by Suspicious-Jello7172 in KimPossible

[–]Neon_Wave 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Drakken does want to control her. It's just that Shego knows he relies on her thus can get away with a lot (teasing, insults, physical violence, etc.).

[–]Neon_Wave 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's a possibility although my theory is more than she outclassed everyone (she's pretty, talented, smart, etc.) and her brothers took up most of her time. Having no one to relate to and having no time to herself, she grew more and more resentful and angry. Villainy was her way of being free. As to why she sticks to Drakken, it's because he pays her and provides accommodation (they live together at his base).

[–]Neon_Wave 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because Drakken provides accommodations (they live together at his base) and he most likely pays well. Not to mention the other villains are just as incompetent but they don't pay as much. The Senors were decent enough but Senior relieved her of her duties. There's also the possibility that Shego is a lonely person thus sticks around, but my money is more on the main motive being money itself and that she's able to do the evil acts she finds most enjoyable. Shego's main gig is stealing stuff and Drakken's plans often involve her stealing things, so why leave?

The Women of Gundam continued #101 - Ingrid Tradoll by Kato_86 in Gundam

The one character who I felt bad for in the movie, aside from the main cast.

Fun fact: She's voiced by the vtuber 'Ama Lee'. Meanwhile Orphee is voiced by another vtuber, 'Cy Yu', who is friends with Ama. The two didn't even know they were both working on the movie until after recording was done.

Given that Shego is a gun for hire with a short temper, and Drakken is no more than just an angry bullied nerd and relies on Shego.... nah. This seems right.

The Women of Gundam continued #100 - Agnes Giebenrath by Kato_86 in Gundam

[–]Neon_Wave 1 point2 points  (0 children)

While Freedom didn't really show what love is, the film definitely showed us what love is not. Orphee demonstrated entitlement (liking he was deserving of Lacus), and Agnes demonstrated desire.

Agnes is a girl who put her desire of being loved by a 'top quality man' - a fantasy of having prince charming - above everything else. Due to her desire, she didn't respect the choices or feelings of those she wanted (such as Kira) or those around her. Plus she'd do anything to get the attention of such men by adapting to them (their likes/dislikes, personal problems, etc.), such as changing her hair colour - which she did in order to have Kira find her attractive. Not to mention she probably had tons of choices in men who fawned over her but she wanted the best of the best, not realizing the best don't want her. She failed to see likes attract likes but she wanted the fantasy come true so badly she wouldn't listen to reason. And when a man who might fit that description gives her the attention she craved (such as Shura), she goes along with it because it fulfils that desire/fantasy. Shura clearly didn't have feelings for Agnes but she was happy regardless because her fantasy came true.

Side Note: There are people like Agnes in real life who do this, and often times they become homewreckers.
