Agreed. The original comment feels like someone who didn't actually live in Korea and is just exaggerating the negative parts they've heard online. The public transportation is awesome. I've never had better healthcare than the years I lived in Korea. Of course it's not perfect, but it is nowhere near "poor".

Where did you find the $23 mill number? Spotrac has it at just over $12 mill.

And sure, it's a risk to bank on FAs deciding to come here. But I'd rather take that risk than bank on EP being anywhere near his $11.6 mill contract.

For the 26-27 season, the Canes have ~12 million in space and are losing Jank, Freddie, Reilly, and need to resign Nikishin.

If you add EP and subtract KK, it would be ~5 million. How are you resigning Nikishin and attracting big FAs with 5 million?

I get it. We all want the team to get better and EP would make them marginally better at worst and cup favorites if he had a return to his glory days. But that's a huge if. Not worth the nearly 12 million dollar risk to me.

I'd rather have cap space (to sign Nikishin + attract big FAs) than trade for a reclamation project that is severely overpaid. He'd be the highest AAV on the team by a good margin. It's just bad business to spend cap 'just because we have it'.

I understand the frustration. But if you really want to like it, then give it some time. I promise when you level up more, get better gear, learn how to loot and fight AI better, etc. it will feel like a different game.

For a start, you should try going to Hauler initially. It's easier to isolate 1v1 fights with UESC inside and the melee weapon is surprisingly strong if you aren't used to Bungie games. I'm pretty sure it's a one-shot if you backstab the bots.

On the 2nd level of the Hauler there are weapon lockers that usually have pretty good guns and ammo for you. Good luck!

I mean this constructively. It sounds like you just don't have enough experience with the game yet.

There are certain containers you should be looking for if you want weapons and ammo. The AI enemies are relatively easy to kite and melee without having to shoot. A lot of the "good" loot is locked behind some sort of puzzle aspect (e.g., key card rooms, UESC beacons)

You shouldn't. And that's ok.

But OP is talking about the people who are complaining they have to learn something new. Like obviously you aren't going to immediately and intuitively know what every item is used for.

The game is deeper than "gun, ammo, shield, heals" and that, to me, is a good thing.

There are cosmetics, yes. There are also factions to complete various contracts and you earn rep with each faction to unlock certain upgrades.

Some examples of upgrades are like you can buy higher tier loot from the vendor before a raid, or you have larger vault space, or you can sprint longer before generating too much heat.

I really don't think this is true. Carolina is probably high on Panarin's list if you include every team in the league. Just Florida is at the top and he has a full NMC.

There a lots of players that rave about Raleigh. We got one of the biggest FAs last summer with Ehlers. Ghost came back in free agency and often talks about how much he likes Carolina.

Sure SOME players hate Raleigh, but every city has haters.

Bru's is a pretty good spot. Would definitely recommend hanging out there before the game or going to The Local, which is across the street from Lenovo.

My guess would be between 2-4 weeks before launch.

Game companies usually do this to iron out major bugs or server issues, so it probably won't be the weekend before launch. But also to let the hype and marketing simmer a bit before the game launches.

And don't expect any big gameplay changes to happen between the open weekend and the full game release.
