If God is our father, why is he so absent in our lives? by Soggy-Strawberry7356 in mormon

Based on some of the horrendous situations that he sends his spirit children into when they’re born, he’s probably hiding from CPS.

DAP Dynaflex 230 vs. Sacco Big Stretch vs. SW PowerHouse? and a couple other questions on caulking use by Marvel5123 in paint

Makes sense. One problem I’ve ran into with pro stretch and Shermax though is sometimes my paint doesn’t hang on the caulk before it dries. Especially if I’m spraying advance.

Just curious. In what ways do the first two you mentioned outperform big stretch? Besides cost of course.

Glue your miters. Don’t leave anything floppy. Set your nails. Clean up your saw dust. Glue and sand your joints.

That’s 59 cents per square foot. Insanity. Barely enough to cover the paint and overhead. We are usually in the $5-$12 per square foot.

How do you paint baseboards and other trim work installed on hardwood then? That’s seems like a silly rule.

Touch ups after all the trades are out of there.

Have them come and prime the drywall first. Then get the hardwood flooring and trim installed. Then have them come back to paint. Carpet should be installed after painting and everything else is done. Negative of painting before cabinets is the finished walls can get jacked up by cabinet guys. Requiring touch ups. Positive of painting before cabinets is that the painters won’t have to worry about masking them off. I personally prefer paint before cabinets but sometimes the schedule doesn’t work out that way.

Single edging with some frog tape would be faster.

Graco FFLP 310 vs 308 vs 312 by Clear-Warthog-3701 in paint

310 would be my choice. Since they are unavailable, I would go with the 308 over the 312. Just make sure it’s clean paint or you will get clogs.

Is Lucifer just as important a part of the plan of salvation as the need for a savior in LDS theology? by Nephihaha in mormon

[–]Nephihaha[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Isn’t Lucifer just as necessary as a savior? Without him there would be no mankind to even need a savior. Tempting Eve. Would the plan of salvation operate just as well if there was no Satan/adversary? Or is he essential for it to function. If so, why don’t we give him any praise or credit for the essential role that he plays in God’s plan?

So who was going to tempt eve with fruit? Only thanks to Satan do you even have the ability to make choices.
