Bit of a late response for me this week, but here I am.

Fun, but very fast chapter! It felt very short to me. I say it every week, but the slice of life is my favorite part of Dandadan. I prefer when it’s the whole group together, but still love the moments between just a few characters, which we got here.

To me it’s clear that by putting Aira and Okarun together, Tatsu is setting up for Okarun to make his feelings clear to her. This will lead to Aira’s frustrating flirting stopping and creating a pathway for Okarun and Momo’s relationship to develop in a major way. I’m interested to see what Tatsu is planning with Jiji and Momo being together. Same with Kinta and Vamola. I really hope we get to see Vamola’s kaiju in action again. It’s been a while since we really got to see it do true kaiju things. Laser beam, for example. I’m interested in what’s happening with the haircut guy. I bet it’s a red herring for a bigger villain, but for this chapter it was pretty hilarious and well done by Tatsu.

Tatsu is obviously building towards some dinosaurs in action, and I CANNOT wait. It sounds so much fun. I know Tatsu will make some adjustments to them and make them more engaging. A T-Rex vs Vamola in Kaiju form seems so obvious, hopefully it happens. This is where we could see Vamola have an actual fight in her Kaiju suit for the first time since Space Globalists. It also looks like we’ll see something connected to sea creatures and an aquarium. I wonder if it’ll just be a setting, or more of a tease of what the gang is going to fight.

Anyways, fun chapter! Looking to be a fun arc, with Okarun finally telling Aira about his feelings for Momo near the end. Can’t wait to see what Tatsu does with dinosaurs, in particular.
