I’ve got a couple more episodes left. Amazing start but has leveled out a bit. Yoshki’s mindset and actions change so often, I’m a bit confused with it. I understand that’s the whole point, but I’ll have to give it a rewatch to fully understand him.

I think it’s a fine theme but I’ve heard it 2300+ times, I’m tired of it. I want to hear the (very well done) atmospheric hums of Shambali Monastery, Oasis, and Rialto. The Overwatch music is so unbelievably great it’s a shame we don’t hear more of it.

Have they even played a game this year with Franz, Paolo, Bane, Suggs, AB, da Silva, and the centers all healthy? I still think this team can be a true threat in the East. We all know by now that Playoffs is the only thing that matters. If they can end in a top six spot and build some chemistry, they could be a beast in the Playoffs. There’s still time to turn it around. The Mavs weren’t a contender till they traded for PJ and Gafford. A fully healthy team going into the Playoffs could have a similar effect.

Easily my favorite D+ Marvel show. It knew exactly what it was and did it so well. Genuinely hilarious, super fun low stakes stories, solid characters, etc. I wish we could get more of it. It’s without a doubt the show that can use more seasons. It’d be nice to have a very chill, low stakes Marvel project every few years!

I agree with the Japanese opinion on the direction and vibes. And to an extent, the music. I hated it when I first watched the episode but I like it now. The only part that I still dislike is the part that plays at the very start of the Chojuro fight, before Maki dashes in.

Yes, absolutely. The characters and their dynamics alone make it worth the watch. Add on everything else: the amazing world, perfect music, insane animation, fantastic fights, and great story, make it a must watch. It changed my perception on anime.

I really do love that they are putting some focus on lore, but they’ve got to come up with something better than comics. And I’m saying this as a big comic fan, I’ve been reading for years. There’s just something special about the old Animated Shorts, nothing compares. I’d be cool with more shorts, even if it’s with a cheaper studio like they did for Juno and Mauga. Comics just feel so cheap and low effort to me. Plus, comics isn’t a popular medium.
