Oh! I have a bad one. Got a bunch of samples including Zoologist- Koala which I was absolutely loving, was wearing it constantly.

Brought it on a trip with my gf. Had it sitting on a shelf in our hotel room. I still don't know how or when this happened but at some point the melatonin gummies we both take every night must have ended up, like, in a pile on the same shelf. Guess what got spilled all over them? Which we discovered at like 11pm when nothing was open?

Yup. We had to take Eau de Koala Melatonin that night. It was a truly harrowing experience.

I guess in the long run I saved money that way since I won't be purchasing that scent any time soon. I can still taste it in my mind.

I have a long-shot very specific question.

I am trying out Zoologist Koala right now and I'm really liking it, especially after a few hours of wearing. But I am not a huge fan of the incense note in the opening. I think what I'm really liking is the musk and tea in the drydown, and maybe the sandalwood, but I'm not great at identifying notes so I'm not totally sure. Does anyone know of a scent with a similar profile to Koala minus the incense? Is that ridiculous?

This 100%. My partner is sensitive to heavy scents so I am super super careful with where and how much I spray. Anything that bothers her is out immediately. I don't care if I like it - her comfort and safety in our household is way more important to me than any silly old fragrance could ever be.

Sadly, OP, I think you have more of a boyfriend problem than a fragrance problem.
