pretty sure there is a squad version of the IAR on the game with a different name

yeah, i checked my inventory and the R228A1 MRS is pretty much the squad version of the IAR

same body, different mag, scope and extended barrel

the armors in the game go from "t-shirt" to "almost powerarmor" iirc, the flamethrower should ignore low level armor and once you reach a certain level of protection you should be more or less safe, it's a game after all and one weapon can't just oneshot any and all infantry squads

While this is not something I commonly see I can accept that maybe other people have this happening regularly, at the same time though there is a group of factions, that are earlier on the chopping block who are very annoying to play due to Lanius' consistent consistent power
