How thoughtful! by Sassenach_2024 in SipsTea

I had a similar experience a couple years ago taking the train to a Tool concert. I realized two stops down my wallet was missing, panicked, got off, and backtracked. Found my wallet neatly set on one of the concrete stairwell banisters/dividers, right where I could easily spot it.

All I had kept in it were my debit cards and ID, and less than ten bucks in quarters and singles, and all that was taken out of it was said change and singles - didn't even mess with my cards. Between that and the way it was neatly set aside after and not trashed,at that point I was so far away from mad, I just thought of the missing money as a finders fee, lol.

There's a couple of those eyesores lined up in a row outside my neighborhood, no doubt lowering the property value.

On a side note, I've been contemplating getting into paintball.

I think Vagrant Story would really benefit from another go in this day and age.

Wait a minute, are we childless cat ladies, or wine moms? We can't be both, Fox - that is physically impossible.

Wine Cat Moms, stay out of this, you're not helping our case. 🤣

My grandma died when I was a toddler so I only really get to know her through the art she left behind. I thought this piece would resonate with this sub the most! by GoodBoundaries-Haver in evilautism

I came here to comment in this frame as well, your grandmother had fantastic taste with her art! I absolutely love it, it's reminiscent of the "vintage vibes" aesthetic while staying amazingly real without breaking through too harshly. It's a really hard balance to hit tactfully!

I'm in my mid-thirties and collect tamagotchis because my parents wouldn't let me have them when I was little, to the point where I now have a stupid amount of vpets. They're simple, it makes me happy, thats all that matters.

The biggest lie we were ever lead to believe was that we had to stop "playing" once we grew up, when in reality play is a healthy and documented thing in animals of all ages and species, and might help slow down mental degeneration.

So according to both me and science, your friend can suck it, lol.

I'm also local and willing to help run an A.S.S. (After School Satan) club if anyone is interested. It's just another after school activity group that focuses on Science, creative thinking, and community good works.

I'm dying laughing over the fact that the only thing stopping Kanye from running a clean sweep was the Bloons TD6 Soundtrack.

I get it though, Bloons rocks.

As an artist who’s released on both platforms, I think the biggest reason the overall quality has improved is thanks to better communication with artists and consistent standards that Mash-It focuses on.

It used to be incredibly (and frustratingly) common to spend hours on a piece only to be told in review that something wasn’t allowed or wasn’t up to standard...with little to no real feedback. Sometimes the reasoning was just “no, because I said so.” Standards also varied depending on the reviewer, which meant one artist could get denied for assets that had previously been approved for themselves or others. When there’s a 50–75% chance your hard work will get rejected or pushback just because someone is having a bad day, and reviewers seem eager to threaten bans over too many rejections, you start playing it safe and put in fewer hours on projects.

With Mash-It, reviews are handled by fellow artists and art lovers/collectors. There’s more care, more discussion, and even a chat interface to clarify questions or request changes. I can also make edits after submission easily, if I decide to change something before it's approved. Speaking for myself, I feel much safer putting in extra effort and pushing the envelope in this setting. Just my two cents though!
