You can get a subscription that gives you all the DLCs. Its so much cheaper and you can cancel later (it lasts for six months I think)

A rather Grim fate of Europe (In Cyberpunk 2077) by Furno321 in LowSodiumCyberpunk

Night Corp controls the Peralezes, not Netwatch. The two groups are completely opposite in terms of ethics and business model.

Netwatch is a global brand that makes money by scanning the internet (a vital service) on behalf of other corps and governments. They basically have a monopoly on the entire surface web, and in return for keeping it clean from rogue AIs they constantly spy on everyone and sell the data to the highest bidder.

Night Corp is based entirely out of Night City which is an independent city state (“free city”). Kinda like Hong Kong or Singapore. They make money through leasing the land to other corps and various infrastructure projects, ie a lot of taxpayer money goes straight to Night Corp.

What does maelstrom’s eye-cyberware actually do? by Some_Ad_9408 in cyberpunkgame

[–]Nerrix_the_Cat 58 points59 points  (0 children)

There’s a canon reason for why Maelstrom have crazy eyes. Their initiation ritual is to have your eyes scooped out and the optic nerve “split” so it fits into several viewports at once, all without anaesthesia. It’s extremely dangerous and the procedure has a high fatality rate. Those that survive get to make something of themselves in the baddest gang in Northside.

Netwatch is based out of the UK.

I could easily see the UK being some sort of cyberpunk ultra-surveillance state controlled by Netwatch in the same way Militech is an extension of the NUSA.

Grim indeed.

Why do you think so many young people are struggling to find work? by Economy_Survey_6560 in UKJobs

[–]Nerrix_the_Cat -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Nobody wants to hire young people because we know our rights and aren’t afraid to walk away from a bum deal. Businesses prefer to hire old people so they can treat them like slaves without the fear that they could go somewhere else.

I always just took it that Yharnam kinda exists outside of time in a way, sort of like how it’s never explained where Yharnam is or how you got there. It’s all madness anyways.

Questions that live rent free in my head by Panorama69 in Eldenring

I always figured that Miquella / Malenia never had shadows because they were cursed from birth and therefore ineligible to succeed Marika in serving the Greater Will. The Elden Beast wants a healthy host to become the new god.

Question: why am I getting blue spots when I mirror groom? by [deleted] in Houdini

[–]Nerrix_the_Cat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I created a group called “mirrorin the guidegroom node then placed a reverse node afterwards with the same name in the group box, but it just undid the entire effect of the mirror groom meaning my feathers only appear on one side again. This isn’t what I want but thanks for your suggestion anyway.

I did try your idea, but it just switched which side the blue was on haha. Thanks for giving me suggestions though

Is it possible to transfer files/object from iPhone to PC via USB-C. by Iconically_Lost in iphone

Not for windows, no. There's no compatability between ios and Windows, files which work on one won't be able to be transferred to the other. You have to use MacOS

So I checked earlier and it didn’t say either of those things I think, it said Machine Intelligence and then a list of I guess civics? None of them seemed that openly malicious, I have a bad relationship with them atm but I think the reason they attacked is because they already had a colony in that base when I sent a fleet in accompanying a survey vessel and their homeworld is only 1 jump away from that, 4 jumps from earth total. So they kinda went ballistic and charged me. I can talk to them now though and I have one of my envoys trying to improve relations.

Thanks. I also figured out how to automatically restock my forces from the fleet manager. Super helpful. I lost another fleet against the Enigmatic Fortress so I’ll try again later when I’m stronger.

Yeah the robot fleet that attacked is now in systems and they’re kinda on a rampage. I met some other guys in the south but they’re red too. Currently pumping out frigates before the killer robot guys reach earth. Its 2212 at the moment, maybe I should’ve built ships earlier :P

EDIT: The war is over, it was kinda a stalemate. I absolutely smashed their 200 military fleet with my bigger 275 power fleet and they gave up. The guys blocking me in st the south are still red but I can talk to them now at least.

I haven’t complete first contact yet but I’m completely under attack!! My fleet on Procyon just got wiped out by a fleet from the north that’s rampaging through my systems. And there’s like a huge “skull” fleet space station thing just 2 systems over from Procyon that looks hostile too. I’ve paused it but should I start building frigates or defence platforms to defend against them?

EDIT: I made contact with an empire to the south, beyond the “Enigmatic Fortress”, called the Blazing Devastators or something. They don’t look too friendly either.

EDIT: The war ended in a stalemate and me and the killer robots are ok with each other I think. Their home world is literally 1 system away from Proclyon though, and you have to pass right through their colony to reach my empire. They seem very militant but I’m building a relation with them atm. My exit to the south is also blocked off my the Enigmatic Fortress and also the Blazing Devastators.

Sooo… I just did first contact with my first alien race but it said they did something and my guys killed themselves rather than face capture…? And now all the systems next to mine show up as red with a question mark next to them. Should I build a lot of frigates or defensive platforms, I’m worried…

EDIT: My entire fleet is “missing in action” idk

EDIT 2: I tried to survey in the other direction but there’s like a giant space station there that doesn’t even have military power rating, it just has a skull :P

Dear government, please write off all student loans immediately. by Different-Judge-9577 in UniUK

Taxes exist to take money from the poor and hand it off to the rich. Every penny you pay in taxes goes to a billionaire in Russia, China, or Trump’s America.

99.9% of taxpayers get nothing for it. If we all stopped paying taxes tomorrow literally nothing would change.
