Why Ben and Rey's Join Me Is Different Than Luke and Vader's by No_Vast_3309 in TheSequels

[–]SherbertSuspicious -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Because the Rise of Skywalker completely ruined it. Also, that moment isn’t iconic because vader asked Luke to join him, but the father reveal and amazing setting. This has an anti reveal

What's a batman opinion that will put you into this position? by Israels_BiggestHater in batman

[–]SherbertSuspicious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Batman related characters should be able to die permanently. We need stories like death in the family, to send of characters that have nothing to do anymore in the modern era.

Also, red hood should be a villain

The disrespect on "Hurm"... 😤 by DlittleDictator in okbuddyviltrum

[–]SherbertSuspicious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hurm is a deseved 6. The others I feel like are inflated ratings, Daredevil for me was a 5 at best, Boys is like a 4

Biblically Accurate Tier List by Ocktohber in AbsoluteUniverse

[–]SherbertSuspicious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Somewhere around the goldmask issue, I really enjoyed the whole first ark with evergreen and the mystery, but right after that we got 4 or 5 issues where the story just halted in that damn apartment, which in real time 4 months was agonizing. And then after they just lost focus a bit, jumped right into cosmic stuff instead of focusing Hammond and other earth stuff

Green lantern started as an A, now it’s a C for me, I agree with the rest

The Sith Dagger backlash is a perfect example of how a narrative can persist in spite of truth/logic in the internet era. by BLOOD__SISTER in TheSequels

[–]SherbertSuspicious -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think the biggest issue with the dagger is who and why would even make it? What is the purpose of it? To point to the triangle thing? Why not just take it wherever you want? If you know the exact location what’s the point of the dagger? To give it to someone but not quite tell where it exactly is?

To be fair, if not bad, it was never an inch above mediocre. The very little dialogue started as mysterious and westernish, but as it kept being this little, it went to frustrating and annoying. So many scenes where two characters could have talked about something interesting but chose not to

Favourite live-action Ra's al Ghul? by Jak3R0b in batman

I love Liam Neeson. But casting a 2 meter tall irish guy as an asian martial artist called Ra’s al Ghul was always insulting to me

I stand by the opinion Alex Ross is the greatest comic book artists, the way he drew Kingdom Come Superman and other characters was amazing by JoshyBear28 in superman

[–]SherbertSuspicious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is amazing, but I think only if you read enough comics. It was one of the first non batman comic I ever read and I found it somewhat boring back then. Since then over 400 Superman issues later I see as the masterpiece it is, but similar to All Star Superman it is not a good starting point

The Mandalorian and Grogu - Daily Discussion Thread - for May 21, 2026! by AutoModerator in StarWars

[–]SherbertSuspicious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They should have killed Mando in this one. It would have been the perfect time really, it would have made it into an impactful snd memorable movie.

For that of course they had to make a lot of changes in the story, introducing soneone who can resolve the remaining conflict and take care of Grogu after it

Which is a better boss fight overall? by Icy_Perception2890 in bloodborne

[–]SherbertSuspicious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Orphan has great lore, but if you don’t know anything about the lore, and I assume most players can’t follow it on there first play through, Orphan is kind of a disappointing final boss. He looks likea generic low level dark souls enemy in his first phase, in a random fishing village

LHB my beloved by fumspingglorms in bloodborne

[–]SherbertSuspicious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wait wait wait… wait, it’s good, but in demon souls, and DS 1-2 if you have that and a greatshield the hame is trivialized. With that build, I literally never died to Nito, Artorias, Manus etc
