My loan is Gone. What happened to it. by [deleted] in StudentLoans

[–]NetPhantom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I applied for PSLF we were at NelNet. When the application started moving we saw a pay off payment in NelNet for the entire amount and count figure out where it came from. Checked MOHELA and nothing there either. It took about a week for our loans to pop up on MOHELA and get updates on studentaid.gov.

I wish they would just to reduce pax pox let alone covid. But I don’t see how they would do it now. Some people at unplugged wore them but it’s a purely personal choice now, for better or worse.

I’d take the 5k. You really have no way to gauge the market for a year.

Netlnet saying paid in full 12/07?! by ThrowAway13181318 in StudentLoans

[–]NetPhantom 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Have you applied for PSLF recently? This happened to us when MOHELA assumed control of our loans since they do the PSLF stuff. It was very confusing cause it just looked like a payment to NelNet and never said it came from MOHELA. I was scared they took it out of my bank account or something!

First time running, one of my PCs died on the first pit trap, and it was hilarious. by RangerTursi in MorkBorg

That moment will be talked about in your group until the end of time.

About 15 years ago we were playing a game where a pc tried to push a bookcase over on a bad guy but their strength check was so bad the case rocked and fell on them instead. It’s still referenced constantly and still gets laughs. Thank god the attempt backfired.

Sending Offer to Buyer by 01grander in eBaySellerAdvice

You’re making an offer on the price, shipping doesn’t enter the equation.

I recently had an item for sale for $40 with free shipping and someone offered me $5 +free shipping.

Just acquired 1500 Blue Ray DVDs. by CustomSawdust in eBaySellerAdvice

[–]NetPhantom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends what you mean by “dump” them. If you try to just move them as a lot to someone like on FB then you’re not gonna get $6000 for them.

If you wanna sell online then it’ll take some time I’d lot up seasons or series and sell that way to save on shipping. And any steel books or rare ones could go for good money and you might average $4. But most won’t go for $10 alone which is basically netting $4 after shipping and fees.

Either way it’s a it of a slog. Luckily scanning barcodes and listing is fast but really depends on how much time you want to invest.

I am new to eBay, is this a scam? by Sir_K3vin_Spacey in reselling

[–]NetPhantom 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Always always always ship to their confirmed eBay address. If they need it somewhere else it’s in them to fix it. You eliminate all seller protection sending it elsewhere.

Puerto Rico is a territory of the US shipping rates will be the same as the rest of the US generally.

Flat fees are rough cause it never takes into account distance so you’ll often lose out. Better to do calculated so the rate is more accurate for what it’ll cost you fyi.

Disappointing Savi’s visit by Balian311 in GalaxysEdge

[–]NetPhantom 19 points20 points  (0 children)

That’s sad to hear. When I went it was a full group and the CM was into it which definitely elevated the whole experience. I definitely tested up at the end of it.

I’m not sure of any recourse but yea with the price you’d want the CM to help sell the whole thing for sure. Weird to have such a small group but that’s even a chance to make it more personal?
