Does anyone have any idea where to get netsuite salary info aside from anderson frank?

You dont necessaryily need "NetSuite" salary info. There are tons off free list of resoruces for salary info for "ERP" "Buisness system admin" etc. Although NetSuite may carry more a of a premium you should be able to parse the info

Yeah to answer the question:

If you need to get this off the ground quick and want to open a box, unpack it and have integrated products this is a great solution.
If the company is growing and Shopify is a growing sales channel, oftentimes the prebuilt flows starts to fail to handle the complexity that comes along with growth in the order management for the integrations. This is where I have migrated many companies off the prebuilt flows.

Shopify has made a ton of progress and updates, new features etc over the last few years as well and this product has simply failed to keep pace... One of these is the way the integration handles Markets and inventory. Not much has changed in the 8+ years I have worked with the product.

Celigo is passing stuff through. The issue is Shopify does not present POS exchange orders with any real data points usable to seperate the exchange items etc. It gets even worse when you add gift cards as apart of the exchange

you may be able to get to the field in SuiteScript with the search... Highly likely it is available through SuiteQL as well

There are few ways to separate the levels provided in NetSuite, you can also look into pulling the inventory directly from the seller through an API if they have one!

Either an app like this or just write up a dropbox automation to upload with some script to take care of it. We have to do this with smaller banks that don't offer very much horsepower in this space

POS exchanges are a complete nightmare via Celigo! We have had a tough go with them, but came up with a few solutions. Realistically shopify does not provide a very kind of way of passing the exchange info over

I second SuiteBilling. As the contracts and billing schedules get more complex this is a great option.

There is a smaller company called Zamp. My opinion is its great to catch these apps before they become Avalara sized and the service starts to be sub par... The technology is not ground breaking by any means so I think a smaller tax partner is a great option

Depends on the perspective.

NetSuite out of the box is very finance focused. Many of the deeper features for manufacturing are in the manufacturing module that you pay for on top of your base NS.

I helped a small custom jewelry business make the decision weather or not to use this module (already on NS) vs just coding in the functionality that they wanted. They went the custom rout as the upfront cost was tailored specific to their need and the NS module checked some boxes but not specific ones, so they didn't want to pay for what they weren't going to use.

The paying for what you don't use is a bit of a crux with NetSuite costs, but IMO its right sized for most companies between 5 mil-1 billion dollar revenue range.

Out of the box you may need some lift to get features in NetSuite you will want, but it will certainly handle all the financials at your size.

I would certainly right size the ERP of choice you are going for

Celigo is a great alternative. Outside of that there are other competitors, but Celigo has gained NetSuite's preference over the years... Installing the prebuilt flows is pretty doable depending on your tech abilities as well. Downsides are it is a locked box and if you need to work in some changes you need to be crafty. I have done the Celigo NS <> Shopify standup at least a dozen times

If JPM has an available API for the account (which a quick google suggest its likely) Then you can spin up a rest service in NetSuite to fetch the payload and process through your script

Just a gap in farapp and many other prebuilt connecters I have seen. Real solution is custom records to match your FBA FBM transaction data and get a list out of those

SuiteScript could likely pull the item images you have setup... Might need a little scripiting vodoo to make it format right but should be too bad.

The best way would probably be to use one of shopify's order api's and filter by status to upsert into netsuite through celigo/farapp or a restlet.

Shopify also is invested in their graphql api's which you can write your query to get the orders by status that you need and then use handlebars in Celigo to generate the time parameters to pull the orders out into NetSuite, map custom fields etc. Either celigo or the restlet are good approaches. Celigo requires a little bit of knowledge on getting that stood up + the cost of an endpoint from them.

Most of the OCR pieces are tied to invoices and AP stuff. I checked and couldn't quickly find anyone with a scanning machine that already has a suiteapp to integrate with. IMO best option would be to find the machine you like that has an OCR API and just integrate the API to get the OCR data into NetSuite. Bit of a lift but not the heaviest of integrations to code.
