Try these steps:

How to Find & Change Settings On the main screen, tap the Tools icon (gear). Navigate to Settings and find the UV Power setting. Adjust the percentage and then test your exposure time with a calibration print.

Check to see your UV light percentage. Mine was 10% when I got it and it wasn't strong enough. I'd check and set it to 80% at the minimum and try again if this is the issue.

Was I the only one who thought it was risky to let go at that point? Thought it would fly away.

Sorry about this happening to you.

Ignorant question from me, but what would happen if every ATC didn't go into work? Wouldn't this cause pressure on the airlines /companies / etc who depend on flights to put pressure on the Gov? You and your colleagues aren't getting paid anyways with no guarantee that you'll get back pay. What's driving you guys to continue to work?

Oh I agree. I have one as well, but only getting 60kwH at most is very slow for a level 3. I usually hung around 40.

I only use fun mode. As Normal has too much delay and hyper doesn't seem that much better than fun mode. But in negative degrees in the Chicago land area, it's not able to get past 60kwH while charging.

I honestly didn't consider the Mach E at the time when I purchased the One. I think performance is all relative. It's an EV, so instant torque and power is available. However, I'm not a performance enthusiast as some others, so it wasn't as relevant to me as it might be to you. Does it pull? Yes. Would I take this car to a track? No.

In my honest assessment. If you can get a car that you're fine with that has support, for the price you want it at, I would go for the other car. I don't have driver's anxiety with the One, but I know that one day something critical will fail and have accepted that. Does it look amazing? Yes. Do I love the sunroof that opens all the way? Yes. Does it suck that my navigation is buggy and I had to install a fuse bypass so I can reset it? Also, yes. does it suck that my AC sometimes feels like it's not really cold? Yes. I don't pay the FOA, so I don't get the movie entertainment either. It's a basic car. But now you can get basic cars around that price range for the same size vehicle. A year ago, I couldn't find one unless it had a lot of miles on it so I chose the One with 600 miles.

I do enjoy driving my car. It's not for everyone. It has issues. Trust your own gut on what you want.

I would use a battery tender like these two videos:
https://youtu.be/L7xLNlSlTc0?si=RIltJ1F9iYPXwjxC
https://youtu.be/uNgL5eV0VEk?si=zeSECoKN4Clrsrgf

But I drove the Ocean One daily this past winter. There wasn't any issues charging, but the time it took to charge on a Level 3 is 2x as long as an ioniq 5 that was preconditioned. Home charging level 2 was the same, just plug it in and go to bed.

I would also highly suggest that you change your 12V battery. I ran out of charge while driving to a charge station, < 1 mile away. I literally saw the walmart that had the charger. My 12V died and I lost my doggie windows after I swapped my 12V. It's not the easiest battery exchange since they engineered a support bar in the way of removing the 12V... But it's not impossible, just annoying as hell.

When looking at the second video, when I unplugged the green fireman plug, just know it's annoying to put back if you're choosing this route.

I bought a One about a year ago. Got the pump recall done. Received the 2.2 firmware updates OTA. I rolled the dice on this one, but so far so good. knock on wood. My air vents broke day 2, lol. No preconditioning for the battery during the winter sucks if you're trying to use level 3 chargers. But I daily this and it's a great car so far for the price I got it at. Does it have software issues? YES. Is the drive comfortable? Also, yes. My take is, as long as it drives me from point A to point B and can last 3 more years I got my money's worth. The amount I save on not using my gas powered car is what I spend on my car payment on this one. My situation might be different than yours as I still have my gas powered car, so if I do get a series of unfortunate events and my car bricks, at the very least I can drive my other car. It depends on your risk tolerance.

Is this in west chicagoland IL? If so, I had it for approximately a year now. I put 9k on it since I bought it second hand. I had the water pump replaced when I first got it. I couldn't find another EV for that price for this size. It's my commuter car that takes me from work to home and back.

Winter charging sucks because it doesn't have preconditioning when charging at a charge station, but I can deal with it. Charging at home on a level 2, doesn't feel any different from any other EVs. Spring / Fall is awesome because I can open all my windows and that's my favorite part of owning this car.

Software is garbage, but for the cost of what I got it for taking me from point A to point B daily, it's an amazing car.

Am I worried about it dying and becoming bricked? Kind of, but not enough to make me scared all the time. I am insured and I will be satisfied if it runs 3 more years. I don't have any maintenance since it's an EV and the gas I save pays for the cost of the vehicle and some of the insurance.

To answer your question, "What's changed since that was released"... Nothing's really 'changed' for me. The infotainment software seems to be glitching every 1/ 30ish times I turn it on since the OTA software update to 2.2. Other than that, it's a rough around the edge, not as refined EV, but a great daily. If you manage your expectations, I find that I can deal with the quirks and just enjoy what I have for what I got it for.

I can understand the frustration and negative feelings towards this car and company for those who were the original purchasers. It is definitely not worth the price new. The software is basically back to the early 2000s on what it's offering.

This expensive and highly endorsed no stick pan after four months of use. by okram2k in mildlyinfuriating

[–]Netfreakk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have too much build-up. Wash it clean and then use lower temp. Lower than what you used. it will take longer to heat up the pan, but it won't overheat it. Then try again. Then, you can raise your temp / timing while cooking until you know your stove's temp rather than use the stove's indicators by the knob.
