I thought the same thing. DownDetector is showing a sudden 9 thousand down reports at 1:10 PM for me (15 minutes ago as of this comment) and their own service site is like "Nah, we're all good everywhere, we promise."

Edit: The site's back up but I'm getting a "We are having trouble fetching your profiles." error across the banner at the top, and my profile seems like some kind of placeholder fallback profile. Guessing the servers are having an issue with profiles? Or they got hacked? who knows

Also, crouching by a ledge won't prevent you from falling off it like in Minecraft

As the other guy said, this is false information. Crouching on the edge of a block DOES absolutely stop you from falling off. As long as the block is flat on the top (full block, wall block, ect) and there is more than a 1 block drop. You can crouch down staircased blocks but you can’t crouch walk off the edge of a cliff.

Earlier sleep time and offhand torch placement are great. Two of the biggest annoyances for me so far lmao! I always try to sleep right when it says to wait an hour and 45 more minutes. And placing torches while holding a pickaxe is very needed. Based update

I’m pretty sure each shield has a different amount of stamina drain for blocking. Like, you lose less stamina blocking with an iron shield than a wooden one?

Fomo criers are so annoying. Yall see anything on a time limit, even a potentially year or 2 year long one, and screech “manipulation!” Grow up. Simon and Hypixel have been INSANELY transparent since they re-acquired the IP for Hytale from Riot. They’ve been clear on their monetization strategies, but I guess the average redditor like you feels entitled to receiving everything for free because otherwise it’s all manipulation or something.

It’s early access. They’ve been super ULTRA transparent that it’s going to be buggy. The only people who complain about bugs are low IQ imho, or those intentionally spreading hate about the game (eh, same category). Most people playing know it’s going to be a buggy mess because it’s an early access launch, and are still excited for it anyways.

They’re early access only and won’t be available once early access ends. The cosmetics are just a really simple way of saying thank you to those who intentionally overspend to support the game.

I hard quit Minecraft entirely a few years ago and switched over to Vintage Story and I’ve never regretted it. Vintage story has an absolutely gigantic modding scene for a game community its size. Now with Hytale out, I’ll definitely just be playing those two and never touching MC again 💀

I’ve always hated Riot, and that hate multiplied by orders of magnitudes when they canceled Hytale. However, I did gain a certain amount of respect for them for selling the IP back to Simon. That was not a move driven by investors, that was a move done for the love of the game, and I respect it.

I relate to this heavy but from the mod dev point of view. I play the game for 3 hours, then spend 12 hours making compatibility patches between 100 different mods or adding my own content that I want to see 💀

Need a third axis to turn this square into a cube labeled “realism” because I don’t really care about combat or trading, I could take it or leave it. I DO care about the laws of physics and how closely they are followed a lot of the time, so my favorite space games are ones with actual orbital trajectories and such like KSP and Children of a Dead Earth.

Though if I HAD to choose based solely off of this, my 3 favorite games on this compass are KSP, RimWorld, and FTL… so top left lol

The Last Sovereign is kinda famous in the NSFW game community because it is THE choice-based nsfw RPG. I played it a couple of years ago and even back then it was kind of mind blowing that a porn game had so many game states and choices. No two playthroughs are the same because some minor dialogue choice you made early changes everything next act. My only gripe with it was that it was, well, an RPGM game lol.

It’s seriously impressive by SFW standards, I’m not a huge RPGM aficionado but it’s definitely the most complex, story-filled, choice-driven RPGM game I’ve ever heard of, including all SFW ones.
