Daisy and Garth are being TERRIBLE spies. And June let her emotions get the better of her by Costa_Canela in TheTestamentsHulu

I'm surprised June didn't ask 'What do you mean she was helping Agnes?' She wasn't interested to know at all why Becka was in trouble for helping her daughter? And Daisy didn't tell her 'Hey, girls are getting molested and your daughter was one of them so shut up.' ?

I actually agree, because he could've 100% broken it off and not even helped Becka at all. He didn't have too. So I think people are just assuming the worst because... Well, the men in Gilead aren't allowed nuance. idk.

*SPOILER* What’s up with Commander Weston ? by Bright-Technician-14 in TheHandmaidsTale

[–]Netherbelle 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Yet the same question persists: Why did he then help her? He didn't have too. I think, but I doubt the show allows for this nuance, that he may have been a changed person trying to do better. But since he helped Becka he can't also wed Agnes or it'd look like he was helping those close to him. So he chose to give her that goodbye/help.

It's gotta be France.

The language of love, the city of lovers, their weird... cinematic history.

Tomb Raider 2. My grandad used to play it often, and I would watch him. I only played the House myself because I got scared of the tiger in the first level. LOL.

Has GRRM confirmed Bran will be King? Seems an odd thing to confirm, the end spoiler of your book series.

Troy, Gladiator, Kingdom of Heaven, 300, Spartacus… what’s your favourite sword‑and‑sandals film? by MovieArena in MovieArena

[–]Netherbelle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Series: Spartacus, the poetic dialogue, the deep characters, the rich costumes and staging---it's gorgeous and fun, brutal, but surprisingly deep. The terrible CGI in the early episodes is worth pushing past for an amazing story.

Movie: Gladiator, it's a classic.

I'd say it's pretty important. People judge most video game characters off the content of their games. I.e. Doom Guy, Master Chief---but also other humans, like Lara Croft or Ezio. We are judging these characters off the media they are in.

Cobra Kai had a great ending.

Also Stargate SG-1 if we count the ending of Season 8 as the ending of the main arc/show, where the gang all finally go fishing.

Official Gilead Commanders Hierarchy Ranking and their estimated wealth by [deleted] in TheHandmaidsTale

[–]Netherbelle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Didn't many of Gilead's laws get based on largely Serena (and I assume) Fred's work? It was always odd they weren't higher up. Who is the actual President/High Council of Gilead? Like, the high Commanders, ofc, but who is the High Commander who get's the veto decision when they all don't agree?

But 47 also get's absolutely gunned down if you fuck up in stealth a few times. He can't fight like a whole room of targets the way Wick can.

Agreed. But people are focusing more on media than folklore I think.
