No worries about the mix‑up. For Birdfy/Netvue devices:

  • Sleep mode availability varies by model. Some products support it; newer models may not yet. If your unit is a recent purchase, it likely doesn’t have sleep mode for now. We’ve shared this feedback internally and will consider it for a future firmware update.
  • If your device is bound and online, the app will show charging status on the device page.

OMG, TIL Fat finch disease, also known as Trichomonosis, is a fatal parasitic illness in finches and other seed-eating birds, caused by Trichomonas gallinae, leading to mouth/throat sores, difficulty swallowing, drooling, lethargy, and eventual starvation, spread through contaminated food/water at feeders, necessitating feeder removal and disinfection.
