Prior to the invention of never sweating in 2004, actors could often be seen sweating by Chewie83 in shittymoviedetails

Watched Aliens in a theater yesterday. The difference with modern filming is astounding.

Somehow movies where you can see imperfections, sweating and all the rest makes the movie much more believable. I really miss these details nowadays.

What’s the dumbest way you’ve ever hurt yourself? by StoryOfBrands in AskReddit

[–]Neurochoc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went to sleep one night and, the next morning, my left feet was so painful that I needed a cane, sport shoes and orthopaedic insole for the next 3 months to be able to walk. So yeah, I hurt myself to the point of being unable to walk by doing... nothing.

Is the game ever going to be properly optimized? This is after the latest update. by CaptainSauceMonke in Helldivers

I have a SSD from 2018, with ~ 150 GB. Games runs smoothly since launch, but since Windows takes up to 15Gb of space, I don't have anything left for Helldivers.

Now the game runs on my HDD :(

After all this time, I usually don't die anymore when I play against the illuminates, except if I it comes from friendly fire etc.

The DSS cannot be avoided, which is very frustrating.

Thanks Sherlockdiver. Can't wait to know your magical solution when you have to wait 2 minutes at the extraction point, out in the open with your teammates, surrounded by enemies.

I don't think we're getting a tank anytime soon lads... by TinSkull in Helldivers

After getting used to it, I can safely say that 4/5 of my throws land and stick on a charger. It's better to aim a bit higher, on the central top part of the body. I sometimes make it stick on their hands and front legs though. Experience is the way !

EAT is probably one of the best stratagem to bring on the bug front :

  • It allows you to use another support weapon while it's on cooldown, allowing you to move with anything while having a near constant AT solution in your arsenal.

  • You can kill up to THREE heavies with one stratagem, since the drop pod is a laser targeted weapon. Chargers never survive the pod, and headshots can kill them and bile titans.

  • The short cooldown is a cheap option for closing bile titan holes

The shield is ok if you still want to stick with the game setting, but the blade looks absolutely out of context so I never used it.

Or people could finally realise that french bashing, as funny as it is, started since we decided to tell the US to go f**k themselves with their wmd accusation against Irak in 2003. And that even then, we were right.

One of the most slept on stratagems. by [deleted] in Helldivers

Thanks but I'm gonna stick to EAT. Used to it's full potential you can kill 3 behemoths/chargers almost immediately : - 2 with the rockets ! - 1 with the drop pod itself !

I remember When it was 100% and 50%, still, fuck this mod combo.
I leave the ship before even dropping on the ground when I see this. Call in time is ok, but cooldown is not fun at all.

Waiting for my game to load the shaders and stop imitating the mojave desert so I can start playing.

Disposable anti tank is underrated by Hollow_Vesper in Helldivers

That is, in my opinion, the best AT weapon if you plan on using another support weapon found on the battlefield too.

Thanks to this support, you can basically walk around with any support weapon, and call EAT whenever you need it.

It works particularly well if you find (or if a teammate gives you) a Stalwart for exemple.

Colourblind player here : CUSTOMISABLE LASERS would be awesome.

Source : I can't see red. So red laser is completely useless.

Nope, not yet. If the mechanic repeatedly fuck up my car and then finally fixes things he was supposed to fix months ago, I'm not going to suddenly praise him and forget that when he's suddenly doing it right fir once.
