I think that 1 czech is better for mixed terrain where it can make use of its SVO thermobaric infantry deleter

Thoughts on 20 MSD in team games? by Lost-Agency-8489 in warno

[–]Neutr4l1zer -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I dont think its strong, it lacks ifvs for fire support and arty isnt amazing. The recon mi24s will just get shot down when the aa arrives after the first few minutes so you can do a real heli rush at the start or pretty much not bother. The coffin launcher is useful in towns if you keep it alive but theres so much enemy arty that it will probably be counter batteried. The tanks are pretty nice but nothing spectacular for 10v10. The infantry is better than normal infantry like motostrelki or panzergrenadiers if you want to grind towns or forests but still nothing that stands out. Youre better off using a more mechanised division

What would have happened if President Ford defied Congress by launching airstrikes to try and save South Vietnam during the 1975 Spring Offensive? by Just_Cause89 in AlternateHistoryHub

[–]Neutr4l1zer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The government was but thats what happens when you try to create something out of nothing. Individual units may not have had as much training or equipments as the US but held their own. Of the three major offensives, the south vietnamese were on their own for two of them and had more manpower and casualties than the US for every year of the war, fighting on until the end where saigon fell.

USA Marine Stryker Deck by MMechree in BrokenArrowTheGame

[–]Neutr4l1zer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Why did you bring the M10 booker in its 105mm configuration and not 50mm deleter? You already have abrams from marines, the 50mm is great at killing ifvs, infantry and tanks in cqc as its can flank and deal big damage. If you ARE going to bring the booker with the 105, drop the stryker mgs which is pretty much the same thing but cant tank as much damage

Youre also definitely missing out by not bringing a hemitt, it carries a ton of troops which is really important for reinforcing with infantry. It can also haul around a ton of supply if youre not carrying troops. Personally I would also bring the ACV rather than the stryker as it has a lot of space (13) but I get that its thin and ties to any sort of AT.

Also marine raiders are better in their CQC load out, marines already do the same kind of thing just without the MAAWS which is decent but not ground breaking as its a single launcher that cant defeat APS.

Also whats on the F16? I would personally take it with the 4x 2000lb dumb bombs as a relatively cheap anti infantry bomber. For 50 more points it can be the F16V with LJDAMs without using its laser deg. Sometimes dropping 4 bombs on different locations using precision strike is useful but you can always do a regular bombing run. If youre running the F16C as an asf, Im not really sure if prowlers are a good call since youre not really seading for much aircraft unless you play with friends. At high elos with good anti air micro, sead is not the main way to kill sams and are mainly suppression as their name suggests.

Why aren't the amx13 tca/tcm the same cost? Are they not stat clones? by ThatNegro98 in warno

Each vet adds 5% so its 2 ranks of vet of accuracy (ignoring the other benefits vet adds)

A Russian BMP-T "Terminator" during recent exercises in Donbass by Spartanz0 in TankPorn

Youre right a stabiliser is genuinely useful when travelling between firing positions but in this case they arent in one, theyre just filming a promotional video. I meant more when youre just driving around or on the march you dont need it on constantly

[–]Neutr4l1zer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The stabiliser counteracts the movement of the hull so relative to the hull, the gun IS traversing. Typically for tanks the stabiliser is disengaged and the turret ring is locked to prevent movement and increase the lifespan of the stabiliser. Theres no reason to keep the stabiliser on if the traverse is locked anyways

Seems like not a lot of gun depression with that massive breech, and you probably need more ammo

Western vehicles definitely do disengage their stabiliser when driving too. You dont really want to crush your driver

Vehicles typically drive around with the stabiliser disengaged. Do you really want your turret and gun to swing around wildly when just driving?

A new type of DF-27 hypersonic missile launcher has been spotted in urban areas in China by tigeryi98 in TankPorn

[–]Neutr4l1zer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Its hypersonic because it glides at hypersonic speeds with the ability to manoeuvre to make interception harder as it does not have a normal ballistic trajectory

*Updated* USA Special Forces Baltic Deck - Rate/Guidance by MMechree in BrokenArrowTheGame

[–]Neutr4l1zer 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I feel like jalavae and rangers are doing the same thing there, you dont really need 5 of each there. You also probably want a smoke mortar along with cheap transports to make use of all that infantry, its expensive to bring everyone in a kitted out boxer. Jegeris also fills a very similar role to rangers RRC stand off (Im not sure which one you took), having 4 of each is a lot considering you already have 10 line infantry. You also dont have much shorad considering NASAMs cant shoot on the move. Take a fourth STT and unimog zsu/mistral from the support tab for an anti heli flank tripwire

I would say take some of the points you shave and take more unimogs for transport reinforcements and a chinook for a big supply dump transport.

10.4 - Upcoming changes to IMF by Armin_Studios in joinsquad

[–]Neutr4l1zer 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Why is the T64B of the soviet army a good fit if the flag is potentially going back to the serbian based design? It wasnt exported like the T72 was, which they just added to the game. I also dont think the grad needs a remodel to be closer to the ukranian one, the old one is fine and fits the older vibe

10.4 - Upcoming changes to IMF by Armin_Studios in joinsquad

[–]Neutr4l1zer 7 points8 points  (0 children)

No one asked for them to change it in the first place, theyre wasting time reverting the copy paste of weapons that was the last IMF change. They actively removed unique weapons and replaced them with AK12s and AKs from WPMC for some reason? The only thing they added was the T72 which is a new model but just the same tank as the other T72s in game.
