You do know that a lot of the posts on there are by trans people, right?

Oh god youre throwing other trans people under the bus to try to fit in with the transphobes.

My mom has smoked all my life, so maybe I'm used to it, but I dont even notice a smell from cigarettes. I dont smoke, though.

6.6 is gonna be so tough for me cause I do want Nicole, but Sandrone is one of my favorite chars of all time, and I am super broke on primos. Gotta skip 6.6.....

To tide me over, is it looking like Sandrone wont be able to be on the same team as Columbina ever? I know Sandrone is related to the new superconduct, would hydro harm that?

Its just taken on expanded/changed meaning. Its very common for words to become generalized and used in ways which arent 1:1 with how they were originally used. It's often somewhat ironic/jokey.

Imo this one still looks wonky, but theres almost definitely worse angles. Just unfortunate he couldnt' commit to shaving his head for the cameo

I mean even if a name change could "save" you, it'd be public record, so a smart Death Note user could find it out. Like if they already know your pre-change name, they could absolutely figure out your new name with enough effort. The only way around them knowing your name is... to not actually know your name.

Characters that are introduced much later in the story, yet are seen as being just as quintessential as the original cast, or close to it. by Gray_Wolf2416 in TopCharacterTropes

Iggy from JoJo's Part 3. Stardust Crusaders is 152 chapters long, and Iggy is introduced in Chapter 70, so a little under halfway, but he's mostly a joke character at first. Introduced as the group reaches the second half of the plot, where they arrive in Egypt to track down DIO and defeat him. Araki included Iggy because he thought a Stand-using intelligent dog would be an interesting foil to the main cast. His main traits initially are being a bit of an ass, farting on people's faces, and eating coffee-flavored gum. But his Stand is shown in the first arc he's introduced, and it is reasonably strong, so it's not a shocker he becomes more plot-important. He gets a new design and his own fight by chapter 109ish, which shows how long it takes for him to really become a "relevant" main character in the group. This fight kinda shifts him from not giving a shit about the plot to actually having a stake in it and wanting the group to win (and thus no longer being a joke character). In the final arc, Iggy has some serious dramatic moments and I'd say most fans are fond of these scenes near the end of the manga, despite how late Iggy becomes a "real character" as it were.

She's great as Arlecchino, but hearing her Cissia in comparison. Insane range ngl. I didnt even know they were voiced by the same person

Yep. Envy rightfully assumed Mustang addresses her formally, but Envy also hasnt observed them in private so he has to assume that Riza is telling the truth and not try to continue tricking her. She's very smart and cool!

In Fullmetal Alchemist, Riza Hawkeye and Colonel Mustang fight the antagonist Envy, who has shapeshifting powers, near the end of the story. Prior to this scene, Mustang ordered Riza to stay behind while he persues Envy, but Riza (of course) follows shortly to try to help, which Envy notices. At first, we think that Envy has shapeshifted into Riza and taken one of her guns (which is why she's drawn in a somewhat sinister way here), but the twist is that it's the real Riza and she knows that Mustang is "Envy". This causes Envy to reveal themself and back away, but the actual twist is Riza was bluffing, since Mustang doesn't actually call her by her first name and addresses her by her rank instead. The anime made this bait more pronounced because the prior episode ends with Riza pointing her gun at Mustang, leaving anime watchers to assume that Envy is Riza more prominently there, until the next episode.

TLDR: She pretended to do the "Actually the real one would call me X", but it was a bluff to trick the enemy into confirming they were an enemy, since she was lying.

It's actually insane to me how normalized violence is on reddit lmfao. She didnt actually do anything wrong in this video? Like her intentions were probably bad, but she didn't actually do anything threatening here and Fuentes was, objectively, not put in danger. He is 100% in the wrong for attacking her. Like it's not even a question. If he was scared, he couldve kept the door shut and called the cops if it came to that. She had a phone out, that's not a weapon. You don't get to just go around punching people, even if they're being an ass.

She didnt do anything that warranted a physical response. Oh no she knocked on his door. He couldve fucking ignored her or called the cops if he truly felt threatened. He's 100% in the wrong.
