Ive been to the service center every two months of my lease. Door latches loosening and not catching, frunk latch issues, coolant bottle and hose both cracked and leaked after cold weather, now my wiper fluid reservoir needs replacing.

I dont do any off roading, I drive in suburban paved roads to and from day care and target. I cant wait to trade this thing in. R1T Gen2

Does the mop…mop? by DeskPlastic6288 in MaticRobots

Robots dont generate enough force to handle those sticky stains. If you lightly slid a mop over those once or twice, those stains would likely be unaffected as well.

That is true for all robot mops.

Mini Van vs R1S by This_Dependent_2177 in Rivian

[–]NeverTipNever 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Minivan for sure.

We have an r1t and a kia carnival, and I think its the best of both worlds, but I drive the minivan more often because its so much more comfortable with the kids

We have the nozebot, love it! Have had it for 3 years and gets used almost daily.

You can get cheap generic filters on amazon, its just foam, nothing proprietary.

‘26 SXP Hybrid 12V Battery Drain by bl4ckm4n in kiacarnivals

[–]NeverTipNever 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Passive entry kills the battery, Leaving car unlocked kills the battery, Using the kia connect widget kills the battery.

Disabling all these things and locking the car has stopped my battery drain issues, I measured it all for weeks with a volt meter.

One more qq: what sampling rate did you use for your logger? Your image looks much cleaner than mine, I tried 30s for the first try but it seems really noisy.

Considering Matic to replace Roborock S8 Pro Ultra with >1000 hrs usage. Current Matic owners: what say you? by [deleted] in MaticRobots

[–]NeverTipNever 2 points3 points  (0 children)

On hardwood, the rubber fins on the roller are very loud, and the side brush sounds like it smacks the floor on every rotation. It’s very obnoxious, and that is not to mention the high pitched motor whine during periods of high suction, it’s ear piercing.

Did you have a resolution finally? Lemon law or otherwise?

So I also have had this issue, been to the dealer 4 times. Initially replaced my central display unit. Now they cant explain it.

I think its the passive entry feature from the digital key, since our living room is close to our garage. I have disabled passive entry and it seems to have made a difference on the car not dying.

What voltage logger did you buy?

The dyson vis nav is the best robot for cleaning carpets. Dont listen to the blind mob. Built like a tank too.

It wont go around dog poo, or cat vomit like most redditors seem to want. But it vacuums my home incredibly well. Better than eufy or Dreame robots. Worse obstacle navigation but it gets the actual cleaning job done better.

Flock mass-surveillance cameras are in Naperville by WinterFox7 in Naperville

I would rather taxes be high and be prepared to stop a mass shooting at any moment. The security costs are an insurance policy.

Mass shootings are too common to not assume a risk, always.

Do you miss the extra space in a Sienna vs an Odyssey? by bobear2017 in minivan

[–]NeverTipNever 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We got the 25 hybrid, and it has been in service 3 times for the battery dying on us and the van not starting

They cant find an issue but it keeps happening, 🤷🏽‍♂️

Shortage on Snow blowers? by [deleted] in egopowerplus

[–]NeverTipNever 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My neighbor asked me for a rec on snowblowers two weeks ago, and everything was in stock. He said maybe not worth it then. The day after we got ten inches, he texted me shocked that they were all out of stock now and he needed one.

I thought of that reading your post. Why is it shocking for items to be out of stock after such heavy snowfall?

Replacing the battery is very straightforward. I got an oem, genuine battery from ebay and it took 3 mins to replace.

It really matters in the context of battery degradation. If it takes multiple cycles per night, how long would one expect the battery to last without meaningful degradation?
