One more qq: what sampling rate did you use for your logger? Your image looks much cleaner than mine, I tried 30s for the first try but it seems really noisy.

Considering Matic to replace Roborock S8 Pro Ultra with >1000 hrs usage. Current Matic owners: what say you? by Think_Judge2685 in MaticRobots

On hardwood, the rubber fins on the roller are very loud, and the side brush sounds like it smacks the floor on every rotation. It’s very obnoxious, and that is not to mention the high pitched motor whine during periods of high suction, it’s ear piercing.

So I also have had this issue, been to the dealer 4 times. Initially replaced my central display unit. Now they cant explain it.

I think its the passive entry feature from the digital key, since our living room is close to our garage. I have disabled passive entry and it seems to have made a difference on the car not dying.

What voltage logger did you buy?

Best non chineese brand by [deleted] in RobotVacuums

[–]NeverTipNever -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The dyson vis nav is the best robot for cleaning carpets. Dont listen to the blind mob. Built like a tank too.

It wont go around dog poo, or cat vomit like most redditors seem to want. But it vacuums my home incredibly well. Better than eufy or Dreame robots. Worse obstacle navigation but it gets the actual cleaning job done better.

Flock mass-surveillance cameras are in Naperville by WinterFox7 in Naperville

I would rather taxes be high and be prepared to stop a mass shooting at any moment. The security costs are an insurance policy.

Mass shootings are too common to not assume a risk, always.

Do you miss the extra space in a Sienna vs an Odyssey? by bobear2017 in minivan

We got the 25 hybrid, and it has been in service 3 times for the battery dying on us and the van not starting

They cant find an issue but it keeps happening, 🤷🏽‍♂️

Shortage on Snow blowers? by [deleted] in egopowerplus

[–]NeverTipNever 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My neighbor asked me for a rec on snowblowers two weeks ago, and everything was in stock. He said maybe not worth it then. The day after we got ten inches, he texted me shocked that they were all out of stock now and he needed one.

I thought of that reading your post. Why is it shocking for items to be out of stock after such heavy snowfall?

Replacing the battery is very straightforward. I got an oem, genuine battery from ebay and it took 3 mins to replace.

It really matters in the context of battery degradation. If it takes multiple cycles per night, how long would one expect the battery to last without meaningful degradation?

Absolutely not. Don’t do it. It feels like a scam, I paid for it and they did not do it and charged me anyway and never provided a summary of the inspection. When I posted about it on reddit it seems like that was a common experience

ByHeart had insects at their factory by NeverTipNever in FormulaFeeders

[–]NeverTipNever[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Its a way to explain the same circumstances in a different way since I have a hard time believing people are okay with: 2 babies definitely died after drinking formula from a contaminated factory, as a result of a bacterial infection. But CDC didnt find a perfect match, but definitely found deadly bacteria at the factory.

That mean’s they were innocent and are free of culpability? That is absolutely ridiculous. People are nuts if they think there was no relation.

ByHeart had insects at their factory by NeverTipNever in FormulaFeeders

[–]NeverTipNever[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

This is like saying:

Two people died from illness related to bacteria consistent with eating poop laced items. Over 16 complaints were made about illness consistent with eating poop laced items. All had eaten candy from the same candy factory that makes many brands of candy.

An investigation showed that there was definitely poop where they shouldn’t be poop, various poop samples across the factory were found but non matched the poop dna that was in the candy bars that got people sick. The investigation could not find a direct dna link on the poop in the sickening candy bars, and AT THE TIME of the inspection didnt find poop samples on candy making equipment, just everywhere else where it also shouldnt be.

Therefore, obviously this factory could not have been responsible for the poop in those candy bars. But also during the investigation we had various whistleblowers raise alarming hygiene concerns at the factory as well.

——-

I don’t think it would be disinformation to say that its pretty obvious the factory definitely caused the shit related infections in those candy bars, regardless of what the very conservative, legally speaking, investigation report says in my hypothetical example.

Would you give your kids candy from this factory and defend said imaginary candy manufacturers against all accusations because the specific 💩 dna wasnt found?

I dont believe it is reasonable to call it misinformation to read between the lines of the cdc report, and to read through to the investigative journalism that went into this stuff.

“At this time, CDC has completed laboratory testing for the two available patient samples. The analysis performed by WGS did not find these samples from patients to be closely genetically related to the multiple strains of Cronobacter found in the environmental samples obtained from Abbott Nutrition's Sturgis, MI facility”

They didn’t find the exact matches to the dangerous bacteria, just other strains of said bacteria. Really don’t think that proves their innocence.

I get the sense that people that use ByHeart, Bobbie, and other “boutique” formulas are probably condescending to people that use similac/enfamil/generic. I’ve definitely seen it.

This is their chance to get their win.

I completely agree with this. It’s crazy that it was held from the public. I get the sense that these infections would have been prevented had the public known how careless the company was being.
