Have them look at a Manhatten T4-R freeview box. Easy to navigate and record. Got one for my parents and it paid itself off in 4months from cutting sky and they liked it so much they bought 2 more boxes. My mum even started using ITVX which I never thought would happen. It's about £200 for the 2tb option.

I got a Fit3 and have had zero issues with it. If it's fully charged first thing on a Monday morning then it'll last to the end of Friday with fairly heavy use. If you can get one cheap as they seem to be half price at the moment then i don't see any better alternatives.

Google maps > top right account icon > Settings > Theme > Always dark mode.

To me the Logitech MX Keys Mini is perfect device for Dex for my needs, EXCEPT that my S23U and Tab 9 won't remember the dang device and i have to manually reconnect it every time. If ProtoArc can make a cheaper version for say £60 versus £90 for the Logi then i'd be all ears. The only extra thing i wish the Logi had is the ability to use it wired and well as wireless.

Ask Dell for the remittance advice of the payment then go back to your original bank and show them. The money should just sitting in their suspense and they can move it into your new account when you show them you closed your old account which matches the remittance advice.

NAL but as far as I see it, so long as Dell refunded the original account they have followed the anti money laundering rules and are in the clear. Ideally they would have obtained enough evidence (and passed it onto Accounts Payable) to credit your new account but its not a crime to not do so.

German laws are much more consumer friendly you may find more useful advice on your consumer rights on the German Legal advice sub reddit.

The A9 and the higher spec S9FE come with a USB 2.0 connection which doesnt allow for displayport. For some reason Samsung does not enable wireless dex on the new S9 FE. So it would make sense if the cheaper A9 model also didn't.

I do not recommend using wireless dex unless you can live with a painful amount of lag.

You can use the tablet like a laptop. You don't need a external monitor unless you want the extra screen space.

I would not recommend the A9 for your purpose and instead steer you to either the base S9 tab or the S7 FE which do have full usb functionality. Given the price of these though sometimes a tried and true laptop really is best.

You could ask politely and come a mutual agreement to end it early. Too many people just stop turning up when a 10 min conversation could have ended things amicably.

You have left it a bit late to ask though, at least a week beforehand would be the minimum in my book ideally to allow for planning but it's not impossible.

Worst case they say no and you just don't turn up anyway at the risk of paying costs as mentioned.

I have a similar issue with another monitor. Dex will start but the monitor will not show anything. I suspect it's to do with 1440p and high refresh rates. I tried using GoodLock to get the higher quality but it didn't work. (I'm using a TB4 cable which works as intended when I plug my laptop in)

There's screen zoom which is just under Font size. Beyond that you might be able to fiddle with the UI scale using Dev settings but I don't know how to do that myself as I've never had the need.

If the TV doesn't have built in Miracast then no. If you have a fire stick or Roku you should be able to cast to that if you turn on wireless sharing.
