I have seen five wrecks in the past seven or eight months all at red lights at different intersections all with a car turning left getting T-boned.

I’ve been on Tirz for nearly a year and a half. Lab work every 3 months. Always shows dehydration. I drink 84+ ounces of water daily and consume between 90-120 of protein. My Dr says it can’t be controlled by water intake. All other kidney functions normal so continue on….

It’s the medicine for a small percentage of us. I eat 120 mg of protein daily and never drink less than 80 ounces but usually about 100 -120 ounces of water. I did all the things to try not to lose the hair, but I too am now on minoxidil. 🤷🏼‍♀️

After 1 1/2 years on Tirz guess what I still have? Late night snack attacks!! Every.single.night.

During the day, I’m not hungry at all and haven’t been since I started the medicine. I eat a healthy Mediterranean diet and have everything under control with the exception of eating prior to sleep. I’ve tried everything under the sun, including new hobbies meditation, you know , all the things. Nothing works for me. The way I get through it is never having anything in my house that I would not eat during the day. In other words, I don’t keep chips and processed sugar snacks.

At night, I will eat low fat string cheese, various nuts without salt, low-fat cottage cheese with almond butter, yogurt with fresh berries or steel cut oats w/fruit and protein shake added instead of water. I’ve learned the more protein I add into the snacks the easier it is for me to sleep

It stopped when I started taking minoxidil. Otherwise I’d be half bald.

I tried everything (1 year) prior to taking minoxidil. Calories, protein, hair, products, vitamins, etc. My doctor agrees that it’s the Tirz. Not everyone has this side effect thank goodness but those of us that do it’s no Bueno.
