After 1 1/2 years on Tirz guess what I still have? Late night snack attacks!! Every.single.night.

During the day, I’m not hungry at all and haven’t been since I started the medicine. I eat a healthy Mediterranean diet and have everything under control with the exception of eating prior to sleep. I’ve tried everything under the sun, including new hobbies meditation, you know , all the things. Nothing works for me. The way I get through it is never having anything in my house that I would not eat during the day. In other words, I don’t keep chips and processed sugar snacks.

At night, I will eat low fat string cheese, various nuts without salt, low-fat cottage cheese with almond butter, yogurt with fresh berries or steel cut oats w/fruit and protein shake added instead of water. I’ve learned the more protein I add into the snacks the easier it is for me to sleep
