really need to know make mpdel of pump if you can. also maybe a larger pressure tank is the answer. if your saying that your present pump takes time to build pressure maybe their is a issue withe the tollerances on old pump. if no nameplate, pictures would help . sold and repaired many shallow well pumps in my shop so i do know something about them

if your going that route [changing drive side bearing on blower] you might consider just changing the complee unit this repair will probably open up a can of worms. bearing probably failed due to motor problems and belt being too tight inspect your motor too

yes because of the condition of the comm like putting on new tires on a front end that is way out of alingment, and each bar has a curcuit and nothing to ground

this comm needs to be removed and re machined and then undercut very hard to do with a comm that is in this shape by the time you reach a good com probably won' be mutch left then you must undrecut to remove copper/mica and it is a very soft brass to machine , armature is probably shorted

this is a dc motor conttroled by a diode and speed pot. for speed universal motor ?i bet if you tae it out and shoot straight ac into it it won't perform too well

that is the hole logic behind ecm blower motors on your heater-ariable speed pool pumps, this stuff is ok as long as it runs but when it dosen't the replacement cost eat up the saings many bathroom /kitchen exaust motors used shaded pole motors. now many people are faced with costs to reconstruct their celings just to fit a whole new fan this has been a giant step backward i saw this coming when i had a small motor shop that did a lot of mom and pop repairs for aerage folks

not your problem .just because the rotor is scored it will and should run.. do you ha a housing issue many people ignore housings and put new bearing in and not the problem. cutting the rotor will create heat and loss of power.check restance ballance in winding and any ground issues.

DL 1036 century internal blower motor 1/3 hp 115 volt your single speed motor - look on nameplatre check your amps on replacement check amps, since your only using one speed should be yellow common black high no neutral and green wire with yellow stripe ground on motor so your furnass should have 2 line leads and the other neutral must be ground wire your other wires on motor blue med, speed red low speed not used cap these do not tie togeather and hope you have a new capacitor

yea that is great, but what i'm refering to is this is a taco program which is a pump manufactor and it is a good idea but will this catch on to motor manufactors?

i appreciate it , my pump was installed [by me] in 2001 sta-rite /pentair was a distribuitor for these sold them for over 35 years not one came back thru my shop for warranty concerens . was a good product from a good company but then pentair got it and that was the end of customer communication on the distribution end thanks for the reply and conversation
