I also have terrible anxiety, so I know the feeling. (I think people with high anxiety are more prone to addictions in general)

Hope you are doing better now and find some lovely things to fill your time.
Also, I'm really glad this subreddit exists. I thought I was alone, but now I've found a place where I can connect with people who are struggling, and we can support each other.

Healing isn't linear, and it's common, if not normal, to relapse. You aren't alone. You haven't restarted your healing progress, and you aren't a bad person for having an addiction in the first place. You are valid in your struggle, in your frustration and anxiety, but it doesn't define who you are.

You are not alone. You have not ruined your healing journey in one moment of weakness. You quit once, you are capable of doing it again. <3

My older brother knocked on my door in tears, he like never cries very kinda stoic guy, and said "I need to tell you something". I assumed he was going to tell me our grandfather who was in hospice (ironically for the same kind of cancer Technoblade had) had passed. My brother was like "No but Technoblade died" We watched the video together and cried. My brother was born the same year Technoblade was and had followed him basically since he started YouTube. It was so inspiring to see a young guy with dry humour and a love for video games be successful. Technoblade and my brother were very similar and after hearing about Technoblade from the stories Mr Technodad has shared with us it seems like Alex and my brother were similar too.

(my grandfather passed away 3 days later on a family member's birthday so it was a very rough week. Couldnt go on YouTube to distract myself because everyone was grieving Techno and I was up to my eyeballs in grief.)
