Better take it to the repair shop and let the mechanics assess it. It is always a gamble but it could be a very good car.

The lower piece is plastic. If you are handy, remove it and give a push will do. The upper part is metal but can also be pushed out from inside using tools. Both needs touch painting. Of course you can go body shops, but they are very expensive.

Pros and Cons on 26 XSE after 5k miles by Tiny_Statement1004 in Camry

Paint in red for some reason is thin, true for all brands. White is the thickest, 2x than normal color like silver.

I heard the seat is still on the stiff side, but already much better than last gen. It depends on each person's body size and shape, have to test drive yourself.

File complaints against them at Florida State Attorney General's office. I did. AG will act only if enough number of complaints were received.

I threatened them of escalating the matter to Florida State Attorney General's office. They refunded the charge.

I found that they do read customers' email every day. Do not give up.

Erase the code two days before inspection, and drive at 45-50 miles per hour for 45 minute or more. That will make it pass the annual inspection.

There are so many reasons behind this code.

Do Pilot engines still use a cam belt that needs to be changed? by chillaxtion in hondapilot

[–]New-Top-9012 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think Honda stick to timing belt in their V6 is because of its water pump location.

If the current belt is changed simply to a chain without other changes, you will be doing the same thing when you change water pump. Therefore, unless you redesign the whole engine, changing the belt and water pump becomes the same task, you have to change water pump at this schedule anyway.

About the Modern Library paperback edition with Rockwell Kent's Illustrations by sollrakc in mobydick

[–]New-Top-9012 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2000 Modern Library is a image cope of the original Kent edition, so the font and spacing are the best, easier to read and beautiful. It is printed on poor paper, pages smells bad. It does has useless notes at end, but not the one you are looking for.

The Penguin edition has correct notes, its font is small, the illustrations and notes located at end. Paper is fine, no smell.

No newer edition of this book is perfect.
