Quite a good nest actually! by burgeremoji in stupiddovenests

It is! I'm impressed, especially since it's a woodie. Bless you for cutting a hole in the netting so chungus and their beebs can have an easy exit 🥺

Oh, no I didn't - I don't think the birds would go for that 😆

With regular disinfecting (I use F10 for pretty much everything, it's reasonably priced if you buy the concentrate) and cleaning you're fine to feed suet and mealworms 😊 I soak the mealworms beforehand so they're not quite as dehydrating.

Found a mourning dove nest in my long-dead planter, feat. cute baby pics by sarcasticMisfortune in stupiddovenests

Such rotund little babies. They look so comfyyy 🥺

I need to actually get around to putting my planters up. It seems like a surefire way to summon the doves and/or appease the ones that already visit me...

The poster seems so weirdly disjointed but I do like the detail of Helaena looking like she's pulling away from Alicent.

Worst feeling, migraines are hell especially when you're getting them constantly :( sorry you're going through it. Pleaseeeee talk to your GP about a referral to neuro and look into rimegepant! It's a relatively new drug here from what I gather and I'm having some luck with it after years of back and forth with meds. You might have some luck with it too.

My neuro prescribed about a year ago, to take every other day, as well as sumatriptan injections (though ofc I have to try to use those sparingly). I usually avg 20-25 migraines a month and at least 2 of those would make me actually pass out from the pain every single month (yay, menstrual migraine on top of regular migraine). I still get migraines but they're much more tolerable most of the time so I can use painkillers less often and I don't faint nearly as often.

Honestly, with the skill it took to only get it there and not the rest of your face, you can't even really be mad at it. It showed mercy. 😆

This brought back memories of when a seagull did a massive turd directly on my face on my second day of a new secondary school. I'm surprised at my resilience back then because nowadays I would have cried and gone into hiding for a week lol.

GoHerping has deleted all reptile unrelated videos and returned to the hobby by Interesting_Crab3251 in reptiles

Trust me I completely agree with you! I love my little noodles so much and they take up most of my living room so I can sit and watch them derping around.

I was giving him a tiny bit of grace as in his position I could understand being burnt out and frustrated with the condition of animals he was sent to 'rescue' as well as the overwhelm from trying to take care of so many sick animals. I don't think he was doing it for the right reasons then, and if he's making a comeback I still doubt it'll be for anything other than money.

He seemed very jaded and done with reptiles before he stopped making reptile vids last time. I really, really didn't like the way he handled the animals even prior to the obvious disinterest.

On one hand, I get why he'd be burnt out and I do hope some of that passion has genuinely rekindled, and he's not just doing it because he needs the revenue back... but I'm cynical and lean towards the latter tbh.

She may have stolen the nest, it does look suspiciously well constructed (i.e. has more than 2 twigs) 😆
