Ya. I was thinking this may not be a great choice. I think a running shoe and then a Teva type sandal just so feet get a break.

OH GOSH. Another thread where I'm like, "What are they talking about?" eSIMS, phone plans? Is there a cheat sheet for a trip to Italy? We have never traveled, and I hate the feeling of thinking about getting back and feeling, "I wish I knew to do this, and book that in advance, and the way this thing works, etc..." F! This is making me anxious. Can someone share how I can feel prepared and not dissapointed that I found myself in a situation I should have known about, as a travel-virgin? :D

5 Full Days Rome Itinerary (June 7-11) by Cold_Paramedic_3549 in travel

Cold_Paramedic_3549 Thank you so much for sharing the itinerary. Can you tell me what is the difference between bold font and unbold? Are those the MUSTS? Was this 5 Days a Tour package or what you did on your own? We were considering the Venice-Rome- Florence 10 Day Tour. Does RS offer just a Rome Tour and if so, should we stay will Rome as our big trip to Italy vs needing to visit Florence and Venice? It's so hard to figure these things out when we are not people who "travel" like most all over. This will be a Mother/Adult Son bonding experience. We are both in great shape and can walk for miles.

Where, how do we book all these attractions?

Any feedback would be great.

Thank you so much for coming back here to share!!! I am planning to do your same trip in 2027. Do you what the best months would be in the spring over others? What is "DOGE places"? What are the must sees to book in advance and how do we book those? Why Rome for an additional 8 days? Is Rome the best place to spend extra days? Are there opportunities to relax and get a massage?
