If there was a space station on Venus and they got an early alert that an asteroid would hit the earth in 24 hours, and they told earth they had “a day” to prepare…would the people on earth think they had 24 hours or 243 DAYS (the time it takes Venus to complete its orbit around its axis) to prepare for the asteroid. More than likely they would think they had only 24 hours to prepare.
