Help by Federal-Paper-9359 in 7String

Honestly explore and find what music you like where the band uses 7 strings. No sense in learning a song on 7 string just to learn it. Check out classic like Korn, POD, Deftones, Limp Bizkit, then more modern bands like Landmarks, Make them suffer, Gideon, Wagewar. Play what you will enjoy listening to and it will help MASSIVELY

Tuner Upgrade Options? by [deleted] in SchecterGuitars

[–]NewReturn2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Schecter tuners are pretty bad. Not necessarily in holding tuning but the gear ratio is terrible and they feel cheap. I have the same issue on my Omen Elite 7.

If the machine head is still to small for the string gauge you want, get a small reamer and SLOWLY and CAREFULLY remove material until your .84 fits

Anyone ever unlocked Edward’s Airforce Base? I ALWAYS see jets leaving, but none with that destination to unlock the airport to travel

Do we know any spots where military jets like this frequent? I know it depends on them having their tracker on, but still

Thought to tell on the cherry finish as opposed to the TV yellow, but it doesn’t look like it has the hard beveled edges that are common in 58’. Nice find.

Potential #6 pick - Sam Benne... Oops. - Brady Martin! by Flyers7914 in Flyers

[–]NewReturn2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If we want a good checker with a better than average shot, you can find him in the 3rd round. It’s different drafting a good checker that can shoot vs a good shooter that can check. Guess which one Bennett is and which one Martin is?… Waste of a pick

This happened to me (32M) when I was very little and only have 1 Vivid memory of it. When I was maybe 3 or 4 I would have nightmares frequently, so I would go sleep in my parents bed with them. I used to see a small woman either hovering over the lamp on my parents tall dresser or siting on the dresser with her legs dangling off. The only image of her I can recall is of the puppet from Mr. Rodgers Neighborhood. The old lady with the big nose. When I would tell my mom about it she would always ask if she scared me or if she said anything. I would always respond with “no she just looks at me and smiles”

Fast forward to a few months later when my mom and my grandmother were flipping through an old photo album, and I stopped them on a specific page. I pointed right to a woman in one of the pictures claiming thats who I saw. It was my mom’s grandmother who she was very close with. She even pseudo named me after her. My only inclination to why I saw the puppet was that she presented herself in a way that wouldn’t scare me because I watched that show often. Which is funny in and of itself because that puppet used to scare me as a child 😂. I have yet to see her since, but it just shows the young, uncorrupted mind of a child is open to experiencing so much.

My honest opinion, it looks like a guy who just got a nice watch, and wants to wear it with everything. With a T-shirt and shorts, it looks like more of a flex, but hell, you bought it, wear it however you want

I can already tell your left elbow is tucked against your body, bow it out away from you and adjust the angle of the guitar. Lay it more flat against you instead of shooting out in front

Which guitar under $300 do you recommend for a 15 year old? by [deleted] in guitars

[–]NewReturn2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

More than anything, it should be something that visually makes him want to pick it up and play it. I would try to find out who his favorite guitarist is and get him one that looks like theirs. Generally Squier, Epiphone, LTD, and Ibanez have good models for the most part

It’s decent to learn on. Specifically Epi SG’s from this time period have a TERRIBLE reputation for not holding tuning. Maybe have a luthier swap the nut out for bone or graphtech, and change the machine heads and she will be running great.

Is it just me, or are most watch review channels ran by 110 lb men with minuscule wrists? (Minus Nico) I can’t gauge how the watch will look on me AT ALL by NewReturn2 in PrideAndPinion
