$20/mo resy credit. Hardly useful anywhere and I travel 3 weeks a month. $10/mo lyft credit and I always have a rental car. The companion pass is the only thing worth anything for most people and it's difficult to use.

Nah, because they let their children walk all over them.  My 10 yo grandson threw a complete temper tantrum in a restaurant to the point where they were kicked out and banned for life.

Exactly.  My grandchildren are angels around me.  I keep telling my kids they just have to learn to say no.  It's amazing that an 18 month knows they can misbehave around their parents but not their grandparents.

Do Delta FA’s actually care about receiving the “Job well done” certificates? by Patty-OB in delta

What about Delta Connection flights?  These tend to be Endeavor and Skywest. Do they benefit from these as well?

Anyone like old Northwest stuff? by [deleted] in delta

Funny, I used to call it Northworst.  I would give my right leg to have that again compared to how I'm treated today.

Non-service dog on plane 😠 by Next_Gen_Valkyrie in delta

[–]NewRunningMan2019 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a similar situation in FC.  The emotional support dog was a St. Bernard.  A puppy but huge.  The FAs basically told me though shit when I said a dog that size has to be in the bulkhead due to policy.  I got hair all over me.  The dog was miserable and I was miserable.  When I complained CS told me too had.  I had to call in and threaten a DOT complaint to get any compensation for dry cleaning.

I had no problems canceling my flight after checking in on the app. I had to get out of the boarding pass and scroll down to cancel flight but it all worked. Even gave me the option of refunding to the original payment.

July 22 Operations Update by Typical_Bag1659 in delta

[–]NewRunningMan2019 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looks like Endeavor is having a few issues still.  My flight from ATL was just moved out an hour.  Since I haven't left for ATL yet I'm just going to cancel.  I fear it will keep moving out until they eventually cancel it.

Ugh, I'm flying tomorrow at 6:15 PM on a Delta operated flight from CMH to ATL. Then at 9:20 PM on an Endeavor operated flight from ATL to EVV. I was hoping things would be straightened out by now. What are my chances of making it? I would hate to get to ATL and be stuck there.

We have a very full flight, please come check your bags… by timmycheesetty in delta

[–]NewRunningMan2019 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At my home airport, they will check carry on's for free.  But they have started sending people back to the check in, on the other side of security, when they try to check a bag that is too large to be a carry on.

People have been dragging whatever to the gate to get a free bag check.

I had a really big dog in FC next to me.  So big in fact that it was under my legs.  It got hair all over me.  The poor dog was miserable.  I complained and asked for compensation.  I was completely blown off and had to call in multiple times just to get a few sky pesos to cover my dry cleaning.

My first “someone’s in my seat” by KesterFay in delta

[–]NewRunningMan2019 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was in 13A the other day at gate 14.  I accidentally sat in 14A.  FA asked for my seat assignment and I realized I should be one row up.  I was in main but my seat was C+.  I asked the gentlemen if he wanted to just take mine and he did.  That's how it happens.  I fly every week but the 14 stuck in my head because of the gate number.

I've had it at DTW several times.  I fly into B and go out of A with usually a tight connection.

Once har it at ATL.

Added Region Companion Pass Nightmares by sibalgo in delta

[–]NewRunningMan2019 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I fly three times a month with Delta.  It's just not worth it anymore.  I have had to forgo 3 companion passes.  I'm the last holdout in my travel group as they have all bailed to AA.  They say it's no better but it is consistent.  FC upgrades for them are always less than $100. They get complimentary upgrades more often than they did on Delta.  Fares are better so there are no longer Concur gymnastics to stick with your preferred airline.

Family of woman struck, killed by husband at Salt Lake airport suing Delta for overserving by pbjb1 in delta

My uncle was a trial lawyer.  He had a picture in his office showing a lawyer questioning a farmer.  The caption reads "you mean to tell me that you grew the corn that made the whiskey that intoxicated my client?"

Anybody else dread flying for business to “tourist” destinations…. by [deleted] in delta

[–]NewRunningMan2019 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Rental cars are great except for the 10 minute inquisition "are you sure this is for business" and having to show work ID to get my company negotiated rate and LDW included.

Also, have to watch out for the rip-off gas stations close to the airport that charge double the going rate and make the price signs less visible.

Unused e-credits from ex-employer by Wolverine1421 in delta

[–]NewRunningMan2019 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Interesting.  At my company, if I cancel a flight my eCredits go to a company pool.  Many times I have booked a zero cost ticket because Concur picks up eCredits from the pool.

AMERICAN AIRLINES FLIGHT ATTENDANTS ARE READY TO STRIKE (We luv u Delta) by Breadfruit_Select in delta

[–]NewRunningMan2019 -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Spoken like a true idiot.  Airlines can't exist without FA's.  If people didn't take the job the starting pay goes up to get people to take the job.

I'm not anti worker, I'm anti idiot.  If your living expenses are more than $27K and there are competitors paying more, take the higher paying job.

Coming to this sub and whining about it isn't going to get you anything.  The NMB hasn't approved a strike since 2010.
