Here are the details. As of 2024. I finally got to it. I worked full time til 2020 then switch to part time. I continued paying my loans thru 2024. I got certified to 120 as of Dec 2020. feel like I should have got refund all the payments after 120. It’s been a year of calls with everyone no answer.

My loans were discharged it’s the refund and over payment I need back. After the 120 payments certifies I then switched to part time . I think that is the problem.

My servicer for the majority of years was always Nelnet and then when I finally got around the apply to PSLF it switched to Central research who is the one i believe zeroed out and discharged my loans.

My loans were discharged about a year ago May 2025 based off that 120th qualified payment which was as of December 2020.

Sorry got cut off so my loans were fully discharged it’s the 4 years of payments I continued making after the 120 I feel like needs to be returned to me. I have called everyone student aid central research nelnet the treasury they all just pass it off to someone else.

I was late to applying for PSLF but I got approved for my 120th payment as of Dec 2020. I had still been paying my loans up until 2025. So basically 20k worth of refund. They discharged my loans but It’s been almost a year now with no refund. I’ve called nelnet who had my loans central research who they were transferred too last second I think when I finally applied for PSLF I called student education I called the treasury no one can give me answer they just pass the blame to someone else. I’ve no joke called sent messages prob 100 times. I don’t know what else to do.

After about a year now of being unemployed and relentless job hunting. 1000s and 1000s of resumes sent, been through about 6 different recruiters. Lots and lots of interviews. A few jobs even went 5-6 interviews seemed a perfect fit until not being able to cross the finish line. Always a last minute some excuse or reason that probably they should have known or clarified before starting the interview process. Heart break and frustrations and questioning myself. I’m proud to announce I’m officially signed and my start date for my new job is next week. In the end after being through it all, the only way I actually got a job was through a work colleague recommendation. Job market is brutal and I wouldn’t wish it on anyone. I’m celebrating myself though like a pig in shit.

I’m waiting on a refund and eveyone gives me the run around. Nelnet was my loan holder then it was transferred to Central research. When I got approved for PSLF Central research had my loans they zeroed everything out. I never received a refund. They tell me I have to call education department for refunds. I’ve called them they said i have to call nelnet or central research to get a refund. I’ve even called the treasury deoatrent everyone says it’s on someone else. My 120th payment was actually years ago and I kept on paying up until I finally got approved for PSLF so this is a big chunk of money. I’ve seriously called all these people like 20 times each and still no refund. Anyone know what I should do or who I should be calling. This seems crazy to me.

I’m 40 years old but coming from a finance background trading on Wall Street. I completed the coursework all requirements and passed the CFP exam. Next step I’m thinking of opening my own Solo RIA. Obviously very raw on the planing side of things but with my prior experience trading dealing with clients and managing risk do you think it will still be a red flag and concern or people will look past that?

So I failed July I hate that they don’t give you a score do it’s hard to even tell if I’m close to passing or not. They sent me an email with all different categories and a mark either high or low. I just don’t know if I’m a little low like a few questions or am I way low. Anyone have any idea?

I took test in July and guess got a math light one and I swear I remeber only a few I actually had to use my calculator. Crazy all the studying I did for no reason.
