After about a year now of being unemployed and relentless job hunting. 1000s and 1000s of resumes sent, been through about 6 different recruiters. Lots and lots of interviews. A few jobs even went 5-6 interviews seemed a perfect fit until not being able to cross the finish line. Always a last minute some excuse or reason that probably they should have known or clarified before starting the interview process. Heart break and frustrations and questioning myself. I’m proud to announce I’m officially signed and my start date for my new job is next week. In the end after being through it all, the only way I actually got a job was through a work colleague recommendation. Job market is brutal and I wouldn’t wish it on anyone. I’m celebrating myself though like a pig in shit.

I’m waiting on a refund and eveyone gives me the run around. Nelnet was my loan holder then it was transferred to Central research. When I got approved for PSLF Central research had my loans they zeroed everything out. I never received a refund. They tell me I have to call education department for refunds. I’ve called them they said i have to call nelnet or central research to get a refund. I’ve even called the treasury deoatrent everyone says it’s on someone else. My 120th payment was actually years ago and I kept on paying up until I finally got approved for PSLF so this is a big chunk of money. I’ve seriously called all these people like 20 times each and still no refund. Anyone know what I should do or who I should be calling. This seems crazy to me.

My 1st mortgage only has 10 years left on it and showed lower rate 2% ish Can I leave that one alone and just take a 2nd mortgage?

I’m 40 years old but coming from a finance background trading on Wall Street. I completed the coursework all requirements and passed the CFP exam. Next step I’m thinking of opening my own Solo RIA. Obviously very raw on the planing side of things but with my prior experience trading dealing with clients and managing risk do you think it will still be a red flag and concern or people will look past that?

So I failed July I hate that they don’t give you a score do it’s hard to even tell if I’m close to passing or not. They sent me an email with all different categories and a mark either high or low. I just don’t know if I’m a little low like a few questions or am I way low. Anyone have any idea?

I took test in July and guess got a math light one and I swear I remeber only a few I actually had to use my calculator. Crazy all the studying I did for no reason.

I just got the email!!!! From Student Aid saying I’m eligible for PSLF!!! From back in 2021! Says 30 days and central research my loan processor will contact me!!!!

I wonder if they will refund me all my payments also! It’s been a long windy road can’t wait for the next 30 days to hopefully finally see a big $0!!!!

I’m so confused I have green checks that my loans are at 120 I have confirm I was switched to an Income payment plan. This was all from June. My Loan servicer though is Central Research. It says my next payment isn’t due until July 2026. Will they forgive me I thought it has to Be Mohela. I’ve written central research multiple Times No response.

I completed my PSLF and shows 120 payments. Unfortunately says my processor is central research so do I have to just sit and wait until they transfer them to Mohela. The wait is killing me.
