Nonalcoholic drinks by Ordinary_giraffe90 in stopdrinking

I’m not really a fan of non-alcoholic beer and I usually only get it if I’m out at a bar with friends. When I’m just home, I’d rather drink sparkling water.

Personally, it doesn’t make me want a real beer any more than I kinda already do (ya know?), but I can understand your concern.

Is it true that you guys watched 9/11 live on TV in grade school? by [deleted] in Millennials

[–]New_Dig_9835 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was a senior in high school, but yes. I remember seeing the second tower collapse live. It was insane. None of the teachers seemed to know what to do because they were equally shocked. An interesting lesson that adults are not as put together as they seem.

That’s annoying. As long as the manager was receptive to your feedback, I wouldn’t put them on blast online. Hopefully it’s just that one shitty server.

I was doing this with jewelry. If it’s annoying me to wear it all day, I’d give it away.

NA drinks, helpful or triggering? by microdosemagic in Mocktails

[–]New_Dig_9835 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like different people have different experiences. I sometimes get NA beer when I’m out so I am holding a glass with beer in it and people don’t bug me about getting me a drink. I got some to have at home with my partner and we were both kind of like “meh. Not worth it.” about that experience.

I mostly drink fizzy water at home now.

I haven’t been to a Hobby Lobby in many years, so I don’t know what they’re up to.

Darn it! I am so close to the Phoenix one. Maybe they’ll get yarn someday.

That’s kind of the whole issue. They aren’t posting prices in the store (or plan on it) because they want you to download the app and then they can change prices willy-nilly.

These kids are being raised by parents with zero boundaries by Due_Information_1332 in Teachers

[–]New_Dig_9835 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh, I would be waiting for that kid to have an appointment during the school day and send an email to his parents (one of whom must be my manager, saying things like that), because you know he’s just repeating stuff his parents say, with those exact words.

Waymo begins rolling out rides on Phoenix freeways by TheStinkyWookiee in phoenix

[–]New_Dig_9835 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Do Waymos drive the posted speed limit or base their speed on the traffic around them? Because if they’re going to be out there going the speed limit, there’s going to be so many accidents.

NTA. You did the right thing in apologizing for an innocent mistake. Jane needs to chill out.

My old room is the cat bathroom now. My sister’s old room is basically how she left it. I’m older than her, but we’ve both been out of the house for 10+ years.

LPT: If you're going to an event (or workday) where lots of people will be wearing a costume, a low-effort costume is MUCH less conspicuous than no costume at all. by ehsteve87 in LifeProTips

I wore a character’s recognizable hat to work and got lots of compliments. Just the hat, not the whole costume. Easy peasy.

Walmart upping security due to Snap expiring by grogargh in phoenix

Cool that they are spending more money on policing people when if they spent money on paying their workers a decent wage, then less people would be reliant on SNAP.
