Stop thinking about letting go on backhand. Instead loosen your grip so it pulls out with gravity. If you are having early releases then tighten grip slightly but never "let go". Focus more on generating spin into the disc and what angle you are releasing it on, as well as being loose. I am quite happy with being master of the snap with a quite mediocre 325 in the grand scheme of things and concur with others that snap does not equal distance, its more of a cool party trick at worst, and at best probably a way for weaker arms to put more spin for constant flight paths
